I feel the same. My dock gets here tomorrow, and if it's anything like this purpley-pink rose gold Spigen case I just opened...:( I see an exchange in my future.

Can you share which case did you buy? Perhaps post the pictures

I'll hopefully get to check it out this week... But man after seeing this I will probably go for an apple leather case to cover the back instead of a clear case like a planned. Either way though, it's just a color. The phone will still function exactly the same! Thanks for posting the pics :)

You can always exchange if you're unhappy with it.

Rose gold watch and dock, a lovely coppery colour

Nice picture! So is it more pink or is it more copperish?

Any chance of another picture under normal lighting? :)

will post another picture later when daylight. First thoughts were it was pinkish but when I put next to some of my other copper coloured accessories at home it seems closer to that.

The watch band and the case are lavender, not white. When you factor that in, that is normal lighting.

Absolutely correct. It doesn't look copper in that picture. Too many people are thrown off by the incorrect white balance of the various photos that make Apple's rose gold aluminum look copper. For example, the photo below is that of a rose gold aluminum AW with lavender sport band, but the band looks white and the watch case shows a nice copper color that male members were hoping for. The clearest indication that the white balance is off in that photo is we know lavender isn't supposed to look white.

When I saw the Apple rose gold watch in person it looked coppery to me. But my Apple Store lighting must have a warm tint because we have a hard time telling the difference between the silver and gold iPhones in that store.

That's how it is in my store also. The gold and silver iPhones both look VERY similar in store. The gold is hardly noticeable at the display.

While there's nothing necessarily wrong with offering a pink iPhone and matching accessories, Apple is misleading its customers by calling this "rose gold" when it looks like anything but.

What's the point of getting a rose gold iPhone only to cover it up with a leather case? I'm going to let that pink sparkle in a see-through case for sure. :p

I bought a clear case also. I was thinking of buying one of those lightning docks. What I don't like about it is that
you have to connect one of your own lightning connecters to use it.

Pink or not, I'm going for the iPhone 6s in Rose Gold. :p

And yes, I'm a guy. I just totally love the color. Got bored of Space Gray, never like silver and gold is a little too blingy to me. Rose Gold/pink (don't care how you would call it) is the perfect color. ^^
Stephen Colbert was using one during the interview with Tim Cook. It looked so ordinary to see him in his nice suit handling a pink iPhone. Really, he was just a dude with a phone and the pink went well with his suit.

Color looks different to different people.

My wife and I argue all the time what's purple, blue, green, turquoise, etc. It depends on the perspective of the person. To you, that might look pink. To another, it might not look as pink because of the shine on it, etc.
