Well...my Wrapsol Original shipped today. I have read that the original installation is a little bit more time consuming but has better results. I think it's similar to the Zagg IS installation and I've done a few of those.

I am waiting the full 24 hours before deciding whether to contact warranty on my Wrapsol but I *think* I am slightly disappointed. I have the ink transfer and am about 8 hours from the magical 24 hours before all of the bubbles disappear. Also, I have the small side piece stuck together when i received the product in the mail.

I am giving mine the full 24 hours before calling but thanks for the info YF.

Absolutely.

The front of the phone has a scratch that runs horizontal by the earpiece, there is also a long vertical scratch that I could not get to show up on the camera. The front also has clouding on one side, it was also very hard to capture on the camera. The left side of the phone has what looks like the serrated edge of a knife, it runs up and down the entirety of the phone.

The back of the phone is where the "chemical" texture looks terrible. You can see the major clouding of the material, and it was like that before it ever even went onto the phone. I remember looking at it while it was still on the film and saying to myself that this couldn't really what I ordered.

I know that you're going to say that these are smudges or fingerprints, but they are not. If you'd like to call my bluff a SECOND time, I'll be more than happy to post a video on youtube of myself using your microfiber cloth to attempt to wipe the film clean. I assure you, all of these imperfections were on the film prior to going onto my brand new phone. The apple film came off, and your product went on instantly.

I would also like to note that my film was applied via the instructions that you provided by a professional vinyl installer. I have a co-worker who does vinyl and decals on the side and is excellent about getting screen protectors on right the first time with zero dust or fingerprints.

That's exactly what my screen shield has, that's why I got a replacement the first time, it was really bad, my second screen shield has some of the same stuff on it which doesn't seem to be removable, but this time its not nearly as bad as the first one I got.

It is very difficult to show scratches and marks on the material like that in the pics. because flash/sunshine will not allow you to show details on the invisible plastic. However, there much be a way to show them on the pics. I will try to take some pics on mine after I come back from work.

Wow, OP you fail at LIFE. Badly.

The reason it says "peel" is because your supposed to peel off that layer LOL!

Mine is suppose to be here tomorrow. If it comes messed up. I'm returning it and will go another route.

The only failure I see here is you.

The adhesive side of the film came in contact with the instruction booklet and transferred over some of the ink, thus creating the text.

I'm slowly starting to remember why I've only lurked this forum for the last five years.

No thanks.

I have already purchased another screen protector from the AT&T store.

I sent an email off to the refund@wrapsol address that was posted, but expect to get bumped to the back of the line behind all the people getting replacements.

Good luck to you and your company, but I will never again buy or recommend one of your products.

Have a nice day.

Fail. Mine came with a protector that clearly says peel. Go back to lurking because you clearly don't know what your talking about.

OWNED.

Really?

So you're saying that a well documented problem, that several people are having is user error? You've completely misunderstood this whole thread.

Man, I sure wish I would have pulled that extra film off that would have saved me a bunch of trouble!

Wow I clicked on warranty > order replacement> typed the problem then it asks me to upload image the product you are returning?

Are we returning product here? I meant we have to pay for shipping now?

jeez...

Anybody who wants to refund or replace their ultra hear back from Wrapsol? I have not heard anything back yet. How does it take to get reply from them after emailed your order information?

I've sent emails to both the support and refund email addresses and haven't heard back yet.

Just spoke to a Wrapsol rep who knew what he was talking about. He said there is a HUGE fresh batch shipping out tomorrow with re-cut films, so for those of you who requested a replacement, it should be processed very soon.

I myself received a Wrapsol Ultra that came without the side films. He told me to go on the website and do support -> warranty. It does require you to take a picture, but he said just upload a picture of the box and stuff you received. Gonna do this when I get home from work later today.

They are doing all they can to satisfy their customers, and I am impressed with the effort they are putting forth. The rep even told me to go ahead and put on the films for some temporary protection, which means we are allowed to keep our original shipment. Don't need to return for replacement.

Hope this clears up some confusion.

Good to hear that. However, how about people asking for refund? Anybody gets refund or hear anything back? I bought a lot of stuff on internet, normally seller responses very fast.

I think Wrapsol is in "Crisis Management Mode" right now. Just give em a little time.......

First time buyer here too. Mine are waiting on my doorstep when I get home. Hope they are OK.

Have we got confirmation that this is only on the ULTRAS or the ORIGINALS also???
