I returned my black battery case for the white. The black looks dirty too easy. You would think the white does, but
it doesn’t.

Apple store near me just received them in stock today (got delayed due to winterstorm we had). Yes I am aware that these come 0%-1% charged. Currently have the phone on the case and charging with the Apple 30 W USB - C Power adaptor and apparently is charging both the phone and the case itself (case now displays 20% charged). I wonder is that how it is supposed to be? I thought that when when you plug it into the power source that it would charge the phone first and once the phone fully charges then then smart battery case?
Edit: Currently phone is 76% and is charging and the smart battery case displays 24% and is charging at the same time.
I think so.Wow... definitely use a beefy charger for that thing (12w 2.4amps at least).![]()
If I am not mistaken, the phone gets charged first and then the case. I think that only applies to wireless charging, now that I think about it.I think so.
I put it in charger around 5:15 pm and now it's 6:45 pm and both are fully charged using the Apple USB-C 30W Power Adaptor. This thing is a beast, it apparently does charge both the phone and the case itself at the same time.
Quite possible that might be the case if charging it wirelessly. However when it's connected via cable (and depending on what type), it charges both at the same time and I have observed this with the Apple 30 W USB-C power Adapter that I got yesterday. If I am not mistaken, the phone gets charged first and then the case. I think that only applies to wireless verging now that I think about it.
