I had the everything shared 2GB plan. It went from 2 to 3 GB.
It looks like anything higher than that didn't change. I'm happy with 3 GB of data. I just switched to Verizon back on Jan 31 and was on the fence trying to decide at that time between $55/mo with AT&T or $60/mo with Verizon both for 2 GB... with their new plan if I don't end up using even 2GB, I can drop down and now pay $50/mo with Verizon.

I got the promo about 9 days ago....
I hope AT&T upgrades my area soon with their LTE service I want an option until then I am with Verizon. One thing I cant complain about is the service I get with them.
The Verizon LTE service has slowed down but still provides me flawless service....However I like the way AT&T new plans benefits their current customers too.
My contracts end in the next 6 months for all my lines, iPhone 6 should be in view.....it will be a time to reflect on where I want to spend my money
Wait, you're complaining that between the 17 and 18 of feb. downstream went from 18 to 35? Or are you saying it dropped to 35? While a higher speed number may give you the warm and fuzzies there is a limit to the useful downstream bandwidth, even when streaming HD.

Just call and ask for it and see if they can add the promo to your account.I have the 6GB shared plan but no free 1GB. I just upped it from 4GB last month. Is this promo still running?
I just recently ported my number over from AT&T like 4 months ago. Maybe I don't qualify.
Edit - I'm on the 8GB plan, up from 6GB last month. I've had it as high as 10GB at one point and as low as 4GB. I keep changing every month because I always get close to my allotment.

Yeah, I have the same 2GB share plan and also got the 1GB upgrade forever. Came as an email ... didn't have to do anything to get it.
Any chance this works on the iPad as well? I have a Verizon iPad 2 but no data plan. I can go from 0 to 1 Gb.

It should not. I specifically confirmed it with the agent I talked to and then on my account online--no dates (or really anything else), be they contract or upgrade dates, should be affected by this.I just chatted with a rep and got this:
