Graft leverage case - I want I want I want... (Update: I got).

just reordered a black/matte today after canceling my previous order

hopefully they'll still give 50% coupons to those that ordered black cases...
 
Just got my protective film and 50% off coupon today from Graft (ordered black/matte case btw). The adhesive piece looks like it will do the trick. Decided to put it on and replace the rectangle I cut out from my old screen protector. The Graft one is thinner but it covers more of the antenna. I'm sure it will do the trick just fine until they can figure out a permanent solution to prevent their cases from rubbing.

I got my coupon code --- and it says "....To remedy this issue, we have designed and are sending all exsisting customers complimentary protective film and a one time 50% off coupon that can be used towards any future products."

Guess we can't use the code to buy another case...or can we? I have no idea.

What the hell? I never got the coupon or film. Also been trying to get them to send me their black one with lackadaisical response. My white matte is really yellowed out and nasty now. No chipping however. Damnit I need to search for a new case altogether. Sorry graft concepts you screwed up.

You will probably get your coupon/film soon. I just received my stuff today, so it looks like they're making their way around. Have a little patience, as it's clear they are trying to patch things up with a fair amount of people and I'm sure they don't have the kind of staff to make this job as easy as we would like to think it would be.

i assume that it applies to buying another case. before this whole antenna/smudging/chipping issue, i emailed them about whether they sell separate replacement parts in case anything broke due to me dropping it, and they said if so, they'd send me a 50% off coupon code to use instead

Just got my replacement black matte. It looks alright. Ill probably go without the backplate on my white iphone however.
 
i suppose they have plenty of black cases in stock. i placed an order yesterday and got a shipping confirmation/tracking info today

now i'm just hoping that it comes with a 50% coupon code and doesn't have issues with chipping...
 
Just received my Black with an additional white back plate. I have to say this is THE case. I have been thru dozens starting back with my ip4 and now with my 4s. The Leverage feels great in the hand and the soft touch cover makes holding the phone pleasurable. The case came with the new adhesive strip which I applied without issue.

I ordered the extra white back plate but I don't think I will be using it much as I have a SGP Cube back skin. If Graft offers a clear or Apple-cutout back plate in the future, I would pick one up in a second! :)

The Leverage is so much better (for me) than the E13tron hybrid I received the other day. Signal loss, difficulty accessing the volume buttons, and the bulk of the case were real turn-offs for me. I am sending it back tomorrow.

Overall, if the soft touch coating on the Leverage case (blk) holds up, this will be a case that I can see keeping on the phone for a long time. It's that good.

yep, it's a nice case, I have mine for a month and looks great and the feel is very nice. The black/mate is my combination and I am happy even though I have a scuff due the latch issue.
 
I ordered the black matte version today. It showed as available while the white was not. I was surprised that my order confirmation said to expect 2-4 weeks before shipment. Nowhere did their website say there would be a delay. I haven't even received the product yet and they've already pissed me off.

Edit: My bad. After looking over their website again, they do mention the delay. It does not say it anywhere during ordering. You have to read all the promotional stuff to catch it.
 
Just got my replacement black case today. Fantastic customer service. I sent several e-mails asking for updates and received very prompt responses. For those who are e-mailing them and not getting responses, I wonder if it is getting stuck in their spam filter.

Coupon code and protective sticker came in the package along with a return shipping label. I am using a lucky labs decal - which although super thin, makes the case a bit tighter than it was without. Still fits - which is good. Really hoping the black one stays black. See pics below for how dirty my white one got.

There is a vertical stripe on the bottom left corner and top left corner of the rubber that was starting to become visible on the white one. The black one has it too, but since it's black, it's much harder to see. Hopefully that is not a weak point in the design.

I thought only previous customers with issues got the 50% coupon. Do new orders for the black case come with 50% and the protective film?
 
Headphones!

So, the one deal breaker for me right now is the headphone jack. I can't fit my Beyerdynamic DT770's nor my sennheiser MX560 earbuds. Does anyone know of an adapter (that doesn't suck) that WILL DEFINITELY fit?

Otherwise, sad to say, but the case WILL go back, even though it excels on all other counts.

The coupon should only be for those who have received their case by November 1st as per their blog post on that date. Not sure if you order before that date but had not received it yet though.

The coupon was printed on a label that was put on the protective film application instructions.

"Customers who have already received their case (black or white)

We will send each existing customer a clear die-stamped protective film that seamlessly covers the top antenna band of your iPhone to prevent any scuffing or additional scuffing and a one-time 50% off coupon for any future products. The film is similar to existing films in the market and once applied onto the phone, it’s almost invisible. If you are unsatisfied with this solution, you can return your case for a full refund.

Customers who have ordered but not yet received their case (black or white)

All orders that have not shipped yet will also include the protective clear film to prevent scuffing. Once again, if you are unsatisfied with our product you can return it for a full refund."

Received my black matte yesterday, no changes/issues/drops at all with reception.

I must admit I was a little underwhelmed upon receiving the case after highly anticipating its arrival however, after 24hrs of use & mainly getting used to it's larger size form (as compared to my previous incase feather style case) I love the Graft & hope its durability lasts until the next iPhone release.

I got my replacement black leverage yesterday (my previous one had a peeling issue - See post #823). So far the durability looks good ... We'll see how well it's holding up in a few weeks.

Also, the Graft customer service team was great and made the exchange process pretty painless.
