Graft leverage case - I want I want I want... (Update: I got).

Are you lost bud? This case frame isn't aluminum. It's polycarbonate. Only the latch is metal.
Reception loss is a non-issue. No signal degradation here!
What backplates fit this case? Why does everyone like the trunket backplates so much? Are there other options? Is a backplate necessary?
any decal, such as Lucky Labs, would work as well.

Doesn't look bad as I thought. Just realized shipping is 2-4 weeks, I will just wait it out and hope a white one comes soon.
according to Graft:
"It will take a couple of months to do a white version that's matte or high gloss. We have to completely retool which takes a minimum of 40 days and then refining the tool, which is another 1-2 weeks."
so don't hold your breath
Is a backplate necessary with the Graft case? If it's just a sticker, how much protection is it really going to give?
Its not just a sticker. It actually gets put into place by grooves left by the bumper. I wish more companies would do what graft does because it offers seamless integration without sticking anything to your phone.
It's not a sticker... More like a piece of plastic with soft-touch on one side. I'm not using it though, as a have a carbon fiber skin on the back of my 4S.
I'm loving this case btw

I need something by next week so Im forced to buy a different case anyways so might as well wait it out.
Their website says 2-4 weeks shipping, but I ordered last night and got a shipping confirmation today. I bought a matte black.
Just ordered the black matte as well and the email confirmation sent to me was to wait 2-4 weeks before shipping! Hope I get it early also!

Pretty much the same here...Ordered last Fri, received it yesterday...no coupon...plastic top antenna cover included...
Put it on this morning, honestly I'm not blown away by it...It fits well, no tightness to the initial fit...
It looks ok, but I see it getting worn in a few months...
The price is probably too high IMO...
i personally like how it looks since it's clean and not ostentatious, but i'm really wondering how it'll fair once the honeymoon is over and i lay it on hard surfaces and such. the soft-touch finish does feel nice and doesn't leave fingerprints, but i'm concerned how it'll hold up over time as well
fortunately, i'm not very clumsy with my phone and don't drop it...often.
I'm similar here, i'm generally very careful with my phone, Generally it stays in my front pocket, no keys etc...
It just did not pop out at me when I fitted it, it is a clean design, the latch part looks really nice - but the button contact does not feel great, I may add some plastic in between to help.
I just feel that the plastic coating will peel over time. I'm not sure if it is a $60 product...the plain back cover probably does not help it's appearance. I can see why adding the Trunket cover would help a lot and really make it pop, I may get one in a few weeks...

I just received my case yesterday for my 4s after many days reading reviews and looking for the perfect case.. Heres my first impressions after 24 hrs.
It's definitely a very nice case and built well. I have a white phone and went with black/matte and white back plate.. It looks great and fits perfect!!
Holding the phone I definitely notice the added width and slight increase in weight. It nothing bad... Just an adjustment from what I'm use to.
I actually noticed a slight decrease in my wifi signal at home. Now this has been most noticable in my bedroom so far which is further away from my router but normally without a case I'd get 1 bar and occasionally 2 bars max.. Now I get 1 bar or no wifi.
Last night when I charged my phone I set it on top of my black back pack next to my bed so I could hear my alarm. This morning when I picked it up there was a light black line across the back of the white back plate that will not come off no matter what I try to clean it with. Now I know that the white will get dirty over time but I was bummed that it happened so quick!
Despite those few things I'm actually still happy with the case so far. It really does look great and the craftsmanship is terrific!

Oh, I was about to hit the order button when I saw this. It looks great with the pictures, but it seems that the finish for the frame and back is just painted on? That won't last very long.
