how does it affect your signal if it's essentially made of plastic? even the metal clasp isn't really making contact with the phone...errr...at least not enough to alter the signal

Graft leverage case - I want I want I want... (Update: I got).

It has been about a month and still no scratches on mine. Just got a clear back and wanted to post photos for interested parties. Sorry for the poor lighting...just really quick photos here.

+1 That back is awesome. Is it actually clear or is it detailed to look like the inside of the phone?
Lots of sites. I got mine from ebay....it was actually made for the iphone 4, but I modded it to fit the 4s. I don't know about the availability of 4s backs yet. They are definitely different.

I don't know but it does. It's not a lot but when you already have a weak signal it makes a difference. I tested it by taking the case off and getting a light signal again. It's not bad enough that wouldn't not buy the case because if it.

ok. so after two weeks of waiting, my black/matte came in. man do i love it. I attached my picture i took. I wrapped my 4S in ghost armor. It took me about five minutes to really make sure the case fit good because i was scared i was going to break it. after i messed with it for the five minutes it worked out fine.
Final Summary,
this case is awesome, it looks, feels great. I am very pleased with my purchase and would recommend it to another person.

I asked the same question earlier and apparently all cases now come with a thin film that protects the antenna bands.

My Graft and Trunket arrived today. I love the look of the two combined pieces. The case is perfect. One irritating thing about the Trunket is that the little logo piece in the lower right corner had some adhesive smooshed out from underneath it when it was applied to the skin. It got on the logo itself, which dulls it a bit, and I can't get it off. A very minor thing overall.

for those curious, I ordered a see through backplate and a brushed aluminum one from cnn.cn and both fit my 4S. there's a decent thread here with info for backplates

With the metal insert/decoration on the bottom right, that is just help on with an adhesive, could it be easily removed and the wood cleaned up ?

Nice turnout! I'm tryin to do that match myself. One question though, is the trunket thick as a regular screen protector or thicker? Just wondering, because i'm trying to get the same combo, but at the same time, I would like to switch it out with my mophie once in awhile.

The Trunket is thicker. It does not bend. It is made from real wood, so it is rigid.

I have a quick question
When I lock my the case, I have to lock it from the top right corner but I have seen in videos where the reviewer locks it from the side.
Anyone else have to lock it from the corner or can you guys lock it from the side?
I'm referring to the clicking noise when it locks into place in case you didn't understand.
