Downloaded this an hour after it came out and I am yet to get a full night worth of sleep... truly an awesome game. I would have easily paid $30 for it.

I can understand GTAIV not coming to Mac due to the deep Games for Windows Live integration, but hopefully they plan ahead with the LA Noire PC port and don't use platform specific technologies so that LA Noire can eventually come to Mac.

Well hopefully they build in Steamworks support. Then we'd get it for PC+Mac, have cross platform and cross OS chat, universal achievements etc. That would be great.

Has anyone heard anything about them bringing GTA IV as well? That would be fantastic. I'd love a GTA with some descent graphics.

GTAIV runs very poorly on PC, I can't imagine how a Cider wrapped GTAIV would run.

Yeah, i can't believe that Apple is letting cider ports on the AppStore. Some are really well done and don't crash, but i've seen so many bad cider ports. :(
Agreed, they seem to be very unstable.

Come to think of it, Apple doesn't allow apps created with Adobe's compatibility engine for Flash in the iOS App Store, so why are Cider ports allowed?. I'm not entirely sure how 'native' the code is produced from Adobe's software, but it definitely isn't worse than than what you get from Cider.

GTA3 is one of the best games of the past decade. Shoulda been on the Mac for years.... at $15, in 2011, I consider it a ripoff, but would have been more adequate pricing if they upgraded the graphics a little. $9.99 would be prudent if still a little steep compared to what games have become.
