I hope these developers get rewarded with high sales. Let the PC be for businesses and let the Mac be for the home.
Hmmm. I never got around to playing San Andreas so I might have to get that one. Was a huge fan of GTA3 and Vice City.

Well hopefully they build in Steamworks support. Then we'd get it for PC+Mac, have cross platform and cross OS chat, universal achievements etc. That would be great.
GTAIV runs very poorly on PC, I can't imagine how a Cider wrapped GTAIV would run.

Maybe... but when you run GTA IV under windows 7 on a MBP you start to lag very badly (12fps) after a few minutes of playing.

Come to think of it, Apple doesn't allow apps created with Adobe's compatibility engine for Flash in the iOS App Store, so why are Cider ports allowed?. I'm not entirely sure how 'native' the code is produced from Adobe's software, but it definitely isn't worse than than what you get from Cider.

GTA3 is one of the best games of the past decade. Shoulda been on the Mac for years.... at $15, in 2011, I consider it a ripoff, but would have been more adequate pricing if they upgraded the graphics a little. $9.99 would be prudent if still a little steep compared to what games have become.
