Solution for mac's slipping off griffin elevator
I have the griffin elevator, and it only seems to have become an issue recently, so i'm not sure whether the heat from the MBP has done something to the rubber on the elevator, however...
a bit of a "heath robinson" solution, but it works... the elevator has holes on the underside of the laptop stands, which are covered by the rubber. i decided to deface the stand a little, and stuck a screwdriver through both of the front holes, and simply installed a couple of friendly tie-wraps through the holes, hence leaving a raised surface to prevent the MBP from sliding off. i'm surprised the stand doesn't come with pegs to install into these holes, but my solution works thus far. obviously it's not the ideal solution, but it does stop my MBP from meeting an early grave, and the tie-wraps aren't overly noticeable.
