If any forum could get this one, it is this forum :D.

Alberta Watson in Hackers.

And STILL no one has gotten this one: "You have nowhere to go... you have nowhere to go."

How bout another clue? PLEEESE! :D I just have no idea, and I refuse to cheat!

I shot this one-word line at work today and no one picked up on it... think I'll test the waters here:

"Weirdo-rama!!"

Ok, just one more clue from the same flick, since the above may be a bit too little for anyone to go on:

"I don't know why they call this stuff 'Hamburger Helper', it does just fine all by itself!"

Ok, now I've made it too easy......

OK, some clues... it's the last line of the movie. Made in the early 1970s. The director/writer developed with the film as a student project, and then got financing to make a full-fledged motion picture out of it. When you figure out what it is, you're going to kick yourself. :)

I'm pretty sure I know it from the clues and I am sure now that I've googled it but I won't post an answer I cheated for so I'll leave it up to someone else to post. Of course there's always the chance I am wrong.

I'm going to take a crack at this....is it THX 1138? OMM says something like that towards the end, but I don't remember if it's the last line.

Ding ding ding ding! Actually, it's not OMM, but one of the robotic officers who are pursuing THX... they're ordered to discontinue pursuit and they tell him "You have nowhere to go".

Here's two of moderate difficulty:

#1: "Look at it this way: in a hundred years, who's going to care?"

#2: "Want a breath mint?"

(and some from before that were never answered)

#3: "Push the button, Max!"

#4: "Roger, pay the two dollars"

#5: "Echo Park. Water again."

National Lampoons Vacation. It also gave the great lines

"Everybody French kisses."
"Yeah, but daddy says I'm the best"

You know, after the clues you gave, I almost guessed THX 1138, even though I've never seen it before and have no idea what it's about. That's a little strange...

3 is Space Camp I think.
4 is Better Off Dead?
Both are incorrect.......Space Camp??!? ;)

Oh, and #1 was from The Terminator, as someone guessed. So we're down to four:

#2. "Want a breath mint?"

#3. "Push the button, Max!"

#4. "Roger, pay the two dollars"

#5. "Echo Park. Water again."

I've been thinking about #2 (it's been bugging me because it's very familiar) – is it Die Hard?

Yeah, #2 is really familiar to me, too. I just keep trying to think of movies with characters named Max...

Hint: It's a movie from the 60s

Another hint: It's used several times throughout the film as a running gag.

Is it a Jack Lemmon film by any chance? I can picture him saying it but I don't have a clue what the film is. Feel free to mock me mercilessly if I'm wrong. :p
No reason to mock you for that comment......... ;)

Oh, a poem, and a nerdiness warning. :D

In Japanese:

Sei wa, shi no hajimari
Shi wa, genjitsu no tsuzuki
Soshite, saisei wa umei no o-wari
Watashi no koto suki?
Hohoemi wa, itsuwari.
Shinjitsu wa, itami.
Tokeau kokoro ga, watashi o kowasu.

In English:

Birth is the beginning of death.
Death is the continuation of reality.
So, being reborn is like the end of the dream.
Do you like me?
My smile is a lie.
The truth is pain.
Our hearts melding together would break me apart.
