Raleigh to Margot as she's leaving with her mother. EDIT: oops, right movie (I think), wrong scene. It's when Raleigh and Margot are sitting in that courtyard. Margot responds: "I can't even begin to think of how to answer that question."


Here's a new one:

This quote comes from 2 movies featuring the same actor, and they are not related in plot at all.

You have one of the movies I was thinking of, but I'm not sure about Roxanne, if it is in that movie that makes 3. Which it may be a running gag in his films.

After spending some time googling to verify the answer I am pretty sure that the poem was not in Roxanne.

Actually now, come to think of it, in the summer, I saw a Jack Lemmon movie, something like Days of Wine and Roses, about alcoholism, which came from his youth. It was a really good film. :)

That's Roy Batty (Rutger Hauer), speaking to Chew (James Hong), in Blade Runner. And not to be TOO picky, but the actual quote is "Chew... if only you could see what I've seen with your eyes." :)

(BR is one of my top 3 favorite movies...)

Here’s a few cheesy SF quotes to mull over

1) “I am the Law!”

(okay, these first 2 are diff movies but the same actor, but I had to quote him)

3) “I've come for your TV - the thing uses too much juice. Another ten thousand kilowatts again this month. Beats me how an old homicidal loony can use that much power.”
