My guess would be 149. That's a reasonable Apple pricing.
Apple is courageous with their pricing but not foolhardy. Padding the bottom line implies that people will buy your products, which is obviously not going to happen when they are priced out of whack. No way cook lets this go under 249, remember he wants to pad the bottom line.
Looking forward to this.
My current setup is 3 wires to charge my iPhone/Watch/AirPods and having one cable will be nice.
Wonder how it would charge when using a Milanese band?
Wonder how it would charge when using a Milanese band?
True... and the idea of having a single charging pad is certainly appealing, though I see two potential issues:
1. Will the price-point justify the 'convenience' of a single device? Assuming separate charging pads and power supplies @ $25/device plus $50 for the Watch, for $100 I can charge everything I've got... and the real price is likely much less. So anything more than $100 is just the over-engineered Apple Tax.
2. Acknowledging that the idea is 'cool', is this really a problem? Given that we're in the middle (IMO) of an evolutionary jump in power management / charging capabilities... how quickly will this become obsolete? For example, assuming the AirPad supports a maximum iPhone charge rate of X. What happens next year with the iPhone 11 supports a charge rate of 2X?
You have never used a HomePod, have you?
I rejoice in your happiness. But your charger won't charge a Watch and AirPods so it won't work for my needs.
My Airpods are the only pair of headphones I ever use these days. I love them because they are so light, comfortable and convenient to use.

Here are the headphones I owned prior to the Airpods. Haven’t touched any of them since.
And a price?
$49 ?
$99 ?
$149 ?
$199 ?
$249 ?
$299 ?
I'd guess between 99 and 149
So, what, exactly, is this to do with “air”?
I miss the days when Apple waited to announce things until they were ready to launch within a month of that announcement.
