Exact timing for the debut of the fourth-generation iPhone SE remains up in the air, with Bloomberg's Mark Gurman reporting in a tweet tonight that the device "should be announced by next week."
We are in 2025, and Tim Cook is still selling the iPhone SE (3rd generation), which has pracitcally the same screen as the iPhone 6, which was released in 2014. I am not complaining about the screen size. What I am complaining about is that the iPhone SE (3rd generation) has the exact same resolution as the iPhone 6. An iPhone solid in 2025 having a screen with the exact same resolution as an iPhone sold in 2014 is what Cook considers "innovation". Pathetic.

Last week, Gurman indicated that it could arrive as early as this week and later claimed that it would be arriving this week, but there once again appears to be some uncertainty about the timing.

Interestingly, Gurman now says that Apple has a few other imminent announcements up its sleeve, including a "smaller announcement" planned for tomorrow. Apple's PR representatives for Vision Pro are also "reaching out to press about an announcement to come."
The M4 MacBook Air is expected to be introduced "within weeks," according to Gurman, though timing remains unclear as a launch has been thought to be imminent for a while now and was originally rumored to be planned as Apple's first hardware launch of the year.

M3 iPad Air and iPad 11 introductions are also expected within the next few months.

It was supposed to be last week now this week!!! ??

I am guessing Apple event next week? That’s the only way “smaller event” could be interpreted as, Apple announcing Apple event next week.

This would be the earliest Apple have held the spring Apple event. Normally it would be held in March or May. It makes sense since releasing all these product with Apple’s own WiFi and 5G chip would be a huge milestone to the point that event would be the only way to announce it.

“Next week now, but not in this universe… in the one where I’m always right.”

My guess for Wednesday is something Apple TV/TV+ related. Apple TV-centric podcast Magic Rays of Light have pushed their episode for this week to Thursday due to an embargo. New hardware or possible announcement of Ted Lasso S4 are my two guesses.

Vision Pro announcement is possibly the collab with Sony on using their controllers with visionOS.

Also good to know that one can now “reach out” about “reaching out” (even further?) at some point in the future. Thanks for reaching out.

I think you've taken one word ("announcement") and translated that to another ("event").
But in this case, as with many, word choice matters.

I hope it or not just to use their controllers, but to play PS5 games (both VR/normal) in AVP in high res and with no lag
