Exact timing for the debut of the fourth-generation iPhone SE remains up in the air, with Bloomberg's Mark Gurman reporting in a tweet tonight that the device "should be announced by next week." Last week, Gurman indicated that it could arrive as early as this week and later claimed that it would be arriving this week, but there once again appears to be some uncertainty about the timing.

Interestingly, Gurman now says that Apple has a few other imminent announcements up its sleeve, including a "smaller announcement" planned for tomorrow. Apple's PR representatives for Vision Pro are also "reaching out to press about an announcement to come."
The M4 MacBook Air is expected to be introduced "within weeks," according to Gurman, though timing remains unclear as a launch has been thought to be imminent for a while now and was originally rumored to be planned as Apple's first hardware launch of the year.

M3 iPad Air and iPad 11 introductions are also expected within the next few months.

Apple really needs to make 512gb the starting point for hard drives.

Wondering if the new Apple Health Study is what he was referring to as today's release.

If I had to guess, Vision Pro announcement could be MLS games to be streamed in spatial? Assuming the PSVR controller support is more of a WWDC thing.

Gurman needs to go back to his original format - releasing news when news arose. Ever since he went to a daily release, if there is nothing to report that day, he still needs to release something, so he’ll just makeup whatever **** he feels like to get something out there until the next actual piece of credible information leaks. His credibility has gone to 0, in my book.

The SE has always just been a press release. They don't want to bring that much attention to it.
Most likely just keeping it quiet for maximum effect? I still consider them comparable to a iPhone 16 because of their physical size.

See also its future competition, also with no bump.

Still have this rumor
rumor in January 2025 claims that Apple will introduce a new name: iPhone 16E. That name would align it with the current generation and also could indicate an annual upgrade cycle. It may also mean that the iPhone 14 and iPhone 15 are removed from the line up, or that the price of the iPhone 16E is more than the iPhone 15.

You've got that right. Many of the chinese phone manufacturers give 512gb as absolutely standard storage. This 128gb nonsense is just that. At a minimum, at least make it 256gb as standard process.
