Whatever your thoughts are, double it.It will be really interesting to see how these new products are priced.
Yes, it wouldn't make sense to make it bigger just for the M1 Pro/Max since the current laptops can handle them just fine.Well, that Mac Studio with the larger Mac mini form factor doesn't make much sense unless it has something faster and hotter than the existing M1 Max. So, it would either have to be a dual M1 Pro and/or Max or something else and I don't think I've seen any speculation that the current M1 can be used in a multi-processor configuration.
not seeing touch in a vertical external display, almost 0 chancesThe only reason to put an A-chip in the monitor and to run iOS/iPad OS on it is to enable touch screen / pen support on the screen. That will be a great combo together with the MacOS 12.3 with universal control.

That SoC is to make the laptop cold, even the intel ones, in clam shell today are running very hot when they are connected to external displays. Also universal control i can see it
that is a microsoft studio...that is used for touch on horizontal, not in vertical. I dont see this external montior to be able to sit almost flat on table to be used as a touch monitor
Agree, remember the T2 chip that was basically an A8 series that was for touchID secure enclaved and the touchbarEdit: literal Mark Gurman quote is "Running iOS = has an A-Series chip powering it." So he doesn't actually know if it runs iOS. He just knows it has an A-Series chip, which could be used to do just about anything, not actually means it has to run iOS.

The Mac Pro would have to support multi-processor setups but I kind of assumed that would require a next-generation chip design.
In any case, if the Mac Studio really has dual M1 Pro/Max chips and if it looks anything like the posted (rumored) renderings then it would be exactly what I was hoping for from Apple. But, the entry level price would have to be no more than about $2.5K (512GB NVME and 16GB DRAM) for the dual M1 Pro version before I'd really be THAT interested.
However, that "Peek" suggestion for the event may mean that they will just reveal plans for the Mac Studio with a promised release by the end of 2022. Maybe the Mac Studio at the end of 2022 with the Mac Pro in early 2023?

Think it might to be more than that... even with M(1/2/Pro/Max)CPUs the current enclosure can handle the dissipation... now if they've done something "radical" (like a GPU chip... though with that, or even the dual processor config they'll need to do something about the UMA, e.g. a UMA bridge)... or adding space for storage.Heat dissipation since they will be plugged in all the time and rev up way more.
The 34" or the 38" one? I forget the details but the resolution of these are different.i switched to ultrawide format a year ago. and i love this format to one hundred percent. would never go back. my main tasks are big excel sheets, python coding, logic pro with a lot of plugins.
If by SSD you mean M.2, then no, that’s totally reasonable. SATA, very much not going to happen. Presumably Tim Cooke got a PS5 in the last two years, yeah?Dual internal ssd highly unlikely isn’t it? ;(
