Yup, just outside London, you? Im guessing Newcastlish? :)
Oooo what are the best deals you've spotted? Ive tried to avoid looking too closely...
Haha! What makes you say Newcastle?

Costco had the 16" 16gb 1tb for 2269. Cheapest I've seen. But hoping for bigger drops come the announcement.

If this happens it obviously means there ain't no new feature worth 'celebrating' on the new lines.

Why wouldn't Apple be holding an event this month? They clearly have stuff to talk about. They could talk about the new iPads and M2 Pro/Max chips, and briefly touch on the spec bumps to the Macs and possibly Apple TV. (I wouldn't call the M2 iPad Pro's a spec bump because they could introduce new features such as MagSafe charging, reverse wireless charging, and new four-pin connectors.)

Because marketing departments factor in the amount of excitement they might garner for a launch. It's all about balancing expectations. If you make a big deal out of minor things, you lose brand trust with your customer. If you don't make a big deal out of something significant, you cannibalize sales. The happy medium is somewhere close to "telling it like it is."

In this case, the rumors are all pointing to the near term product enhancements not being as huge of a deal. Their call. You're going to find out anyway. You can vote with your wallet as you see fit.
