Apple can be expected to release its redesigned 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pros sometime between September and November, as part of another packed fall season for new product launches, according to Bloomberg journalist Mark Gurman.

In the latest edition of his Power On newsletter, Gurman says that the new MacBook Pros will go into production in the third quarter and can be expected to be announced by Apple "between September and November at the latest." Apple last year announced an updated MacBook Air, MacBook Pro, and Mac mini powered by the M1 in November.

Gurman notes that Apple had originally planned to release the new MacBook Pros earlier this year, but continued complications around mini-LED production delayed their launch.

The new MacBook Pros are expected to be high in demand thanks to several significant features and changes. On top of a new design featuring flat-edges and more ports, Apple plans to include mini-LED displays in the new laptops, the same one used in the high-end 12.9-inch iPad Pro announced this past April. Faster Apple silicon chips will also power the new MacBook Pros. Learn more about everything we know about the upcoming MacBook Pros with our guide.

Gurman: Redesigned MacBook Pros to Launch Between September and December 🥺🥺

How many times are we going to hear this. We’ve heard this many times now. Over and over…

New iPhones/Apple watch will be launched in September.

New MacBook Pro will be launched October-November.

As good as these replies have been so far, on the topic of actually getting one I am very excited as I'll be going overseas for most of next year and don't want to take my 27" iMac. Hopefully the large M(x) iMac is released by the time I get back to replace that one (even though it's only 2 years old now).

Gurman, you have failed to predict on June about the launch of Macbook Pro at WWDC. Please be accurate this time.

moreover, I don't think it will be launch with the IPhone. It will impede the IPhone to shine.
I think Apple originally planned for the MacBook Pro to be launched during the summer but delays happened…
chip shortage, trouble with developing the screen.

However, I agree with you. There is no way Apple will allow iPhone and MacBook to be launched at the same times.

wonder how PR is going to reintroduce the F keys

Ideally, they would find a way to add a marginal feature that is otherwise exclusive to Macs, to work their way out of a problem they created by removing them to begin with, so that they don't have to admit they backtracked.
ie. magsafe to phones instead of using more common solutions.

"The Function key has been virtually unchanged since its introduction in 1965. Apple revolutionized the function row with the introduction of the Touch Bar. Now, we will take another step no other visionary could by introducing travel and tactile feedback to [X innovation], providing dynamism to discrete system inputs, leaping beyond those boring F keys while providing 3X the user experience of the Touch Bar."

I wonder how the delay in the M1X release will factor into the A15 release in 2 months..

Will the a15 have faster single core than the m1x meant for pro machines?

Going to be a tricky fall for marketing.
There’s no delay in A15 chip.

Correct, I am asking how the delay of the m1x and release of A15 in 2 months will factor into everything since. The a15 "potentially" could have faster single core than the pro offering.
