Maybe Im using mine wrong, but I also wish that deleting a sms on my phone deleted it on my watch. I get a lot of 2 step sms and deleting them twice is annoying. I would like the watch to just mirror the phone. The only thing I want for Christmas is the ability to mark all my Apple Watch texts as trash and delete them with one touch. You would think since we are on Apple Watch 6 it would be a given command? I can’t be the only one out there?
who thought is not in fall? This is getting beyond a joke now... next will be Gurman says Macbook Pro's between September and sometime next year..
Oh yeah? do you think it's so obvious? And why do you think they will release new MacBook pro between September and November and not in December before Christmas like other years with pro computers? He is talking about launch not announcement. Maybe you are based on previous rumors? because Apple has not confirmed anything (not even the new Mac btw) to say this is as obvious as the fact that it will rain.Wow!! What a hard prediction to make!! It is like predicting ‘Ran will fall somewhere between September and November and sun will continue to rise each morning‘
For the MB Air, the function keys do not default to Fn functionality. Those keys default to “media” keys like volume, screen brightness, play/pause, skip, and a few others. You have to press the Fn key to switch to the old school F1-12 mode.Honestly, I hope they still push to for some kind of innovation with that space on the keyboard. It seems to me there could be some subset set of function keys, without simply reverting back to the industry standard? Dunno... I'm not super invested either way, but I do like the Touch Bar for volume/brightness (and the occasional software-specific continuous "slider" function)... So maybe a small touch screen, above the right hand, with 5 or 6 function keys above the left (to the esc key)?
Not necessarily. M1X should be clocked higher than A14 and M1.The A15 will definitely have faster singe core than the M1X because the M1 series is based on the A14.
The “media” keys set really is the most useful. They should just focus on that and maybe add a dedicated “emoji” key, which would be used a lot in apps like Slack, messages, etc.For the MB Air, the function keys do not default to Fn functionality. Apple can be expected to release its redesigned 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pros sometime between September and November, as part of another packed fall season for new product launches, according to Bloomberg journalist Mark Gurman.

In the latest edition of his Power On newsletter, Gurman says that the new MacBook Pros will go into production in the third quarter and can be expected to be announced by Apple "between September and November at the latest." Apple last year announced an updated MacBook Air, MacBook Pro, and Mac mini powered by the M1 in November.
Gurman notes that Apple had originally planned to release the new MacBook Pros earlier this year, but continued complications around mini-LED production delayed their launch.
The new MacBook Pros are expected to be high in demand thanks to several significant features and changes. On top of a new design featuring flat-edges and more ports, Apple plans to include mini-LED displays in the new laptops, the same one used in the high-end 12.9-inch iPad Pro announced this past April. Faster Apple silicon chips will also power the new MacBook Pros. Learn more about everything we know about the upcoming MacBook Pros with our guide.

Jony Ive, is that you?Ideally, they would find a way to add a marginal feature that is otherwise exclusive to Macs, to work their way out of a problem they created by removing them to begin with, so that they don't have to admit they backtracked.
ie. magsafe to phones instead of using more common solutions.
"The Function key has been virtually unchanged since its introduction in 1965. Apple revolutionized the function row with the introduction of the Touch Bar. Now, we will take another step no other visionary could by introducing travel and tactile feedback to [X innovation], providing dynamism to discrete system inputs, leaping beyond those boring F keys while providing 3X the user experience of the Touch Bar."
I feel the same way, but also wonder - is it Gurman's fault or is it ours for eagerly slurping up every single scrap of these repetitive self evident predictions.Gurman and all the other Nostradomus impersonators are tiresome. Sometime before end of 2021 we may see macbook pros.. I question his actual "journalistic" abilities.
