Even if Zeiss would normally charge a fortune for such lenses, I suspect Apple will be willing to subsidize that so the cost isn't more than $99. It's well worth a few million dollars to avoid the significant negative press they'd get from charging $500 for people who need glasses. This is an accessibility issue!
You were right after all. Not sure about the reason you mentioned about the lenses' price, but still, you got the price right ;)

Look at this forum even. Articles about EU regulations get 500+ posts and Vision Pro threads often don’t even crack 100.

Lol. Nice effort at cherry picking! I said most, not all. Are you really going to argue that vision Pro threads receive nearly as much attention as others? Oh wait, never mind, I’ve read your other posts. I’m sure you will! 🤪

All the Vision Pro is going to do is give Apple users something that Window users have had for many many years and that is the ability to use AR/VR. The Vision Pro is not going to light the world on fire with regards to VR because everything that the Vison Pro can do, the existing VR headsets for Windows users have been doing so for years. Name something the Vision Pro can do and I bet one of the existing Windows VR headsets can already do.

Can Windows VR headsets give me a 4k desktop that I can work on? I've searched over the years for a headset that essentially would be a portable monitor I could throw in my bag and travel with and haven't found anything yet. Everything I've read about existing AR/VR headsets is that the resolution is not good enough to do sustained work on them. Or is there one I missed? Because I wouldn't mind spending less than $3.5k if something else could do the job just as well.
