All I want is for the fitness app to work as intended. I was recently on vacation. When going out during the day I’d always forget to start an outdoor walk workout. Only once did my watch tap me and ask me if I want to start a workout. And the one time it did I had been walking at least a mile and it started the workout off at .5 miles. Yes I know you can manually add workouts in the health app but isn’t the watch support to recognize when you’ve started a workout? And if you’re walking at a brisk enough pace it shouldn’t take 10-20 minutes for the watch to figure it out.

You mean middle left? That is RadarScope my favorite radar app as a weather nerd. Comes with complication from being on my iPhone it is paid app at several levels I use as storm spotter and all around weather freak.

Nice. I subscribe to the Carrot app just because of their complications and widgets. Where I live it gets really humid in the summer. I like being able to quickly glance at my watch and see what the dew point is. Or what the wind gusts are. My watch face is basically activity rings and weather complications.

Very interested in this. I have custom watch faces for specific situations and find the Siri one to be best for my needs when at work. It's been neglected and already needed work but has always had so much potential.

I spend almost all of my time in the Siri watchface anyway, and the only watch app I regularly use is the one for excercises. So, personally, I like the sound of this.

I am a retired geologist and paleontologist who has a strong interest in weather and storms. A local weather bureau storm spotter also. So I also like good weather apps and these are my favorites

Yes it seems like it used to recognize sooner that i was walking. Not now. I put the activity complication upper right corner now for quick access. I just use for walking.

How about these as Home Screen option. Nice and simple. They even had enough power to set a wallpaper.

lol

I had one of these (still do somewhere) and have always liked it for it's size and screen. Especially the 'Cover Flow'-like app selector added in OS 1.1 (if I remember correctly).

Please use an even smaller font in beautiful unreadable, unchegable red font for all widgets, notifications and faces!. I love being unable to read the red colored section of the activities section and how “accessibility” means basically nothing in Apple
Watch for my 48 years old eyes.

Proudly a 2 watches wearer everyday! (Mechanical on the left, and Apple Watch on the right).

Siri watch face and widget stacks-- two things I've never used...

I guess it's good to keep trying to get these devices to do more, but MacOS doesn't make sense on an iPad and iOS doesn't make sense on a watch. Hopefully these are just steps along the way to a better system.

I'm happy with my watch. If it's true that the Watch will be able to pair with devices other than the phone, and I can finally leave my phone behind and just go out with a watch and iPad, I'd be thrilled.

Here is one concept. The widgets look cool but the problem is you can only have one widget activated at a time. Unless Apple decides to make the Apple Watch screen bigger which I don’t see it happening this year.

The widgets sound cool, however not really practical in reality IMO.....what would they actually bring, that you don't get with up to 8 complications ?

If the Watch ever gets a camera, it's gotta be under the display, right?

Not that I feel like there's ever going to be a need for one.
That's because, I suspect u don't use Cellular 😊
For all of us that have seen the light, the camera is the missing piece from the AW 😏

No one writes apps for the watch because it's the most locked down OS ever. You cannot access anything, or do anything outside of Apple's strict prison rules.
That's why we love it and that's why it's the No. 1 smart watch 😊
The only thing missing from it (unlike the iMessage) is you can't see photos in whatapp messages only the text, other wise it's got everything anyone would want from an app point of view.

Thats about the only thing I miss about the Galaxy watch I used to have
🤣 When people don't have anything of substance to complain about on the AW, they complain about the faces, on the iPhone it's the notch/dynamic island.....it's pathetic 😏

I can’t remember the last time I used any app on my Watch that isn’t the exercise app. I basically use my watch as an exercise tracker and a screen for checking notifications without having to pull my phone out.

I think when it comes to the Watch, widgets or better apps going to change the way people use their Watch The only thing that will move the needle are new sensors like temperature (for everyone), blood sugar and blood pressure.
and a face time camera 😊

It only recognises a work out after 10 min and your heart rate has to be over 100.....it works as intended, you're just not aware how it works 😏

Starting a walk.

I find the easiest way to start a walk is simply to lift my watch and say, “Hey, Siri. Start an outdoor walk.” Works.
