It's been pulled. WTF!!!!! :mad::mad::mad::mad:

This is the second time you have screamed "ZOMG ITS BEEN PULLED" without knowing what you are talking about. Take a nap, and then try to download again. It's a new app, and sometimes they take a while before they show up in the app store. Surely you must understand this, or are you trying to stir up controversy?

It's back out, but apparently no love for iPad users.

I'm just going to add this to my AppShopper Wish List so I get notified when it drops in price.

It'd be great if it would actually connect. All I get are "Magic Key errors" when trying to sign in. I've followed instructions online that involve signing into Google Voice via Safari but nothing has worked.

Any ideas?

Edit: Got it. Apparently you need to disable multiple logins. Silly.

I downloaded the app last night and so far I'm not super impressed. No push notification? That should be standard. And when I received a text, it was sent to both the GV mobile app and the phone. The latter defeats the purpose of using GV SMS to avoid using my text plan.

Push is in development, he said.

The sms forwarding can be deactivated. Go to Settings > Forward calls to > select the arrow next to your forwarded phone and change 'Receive SMS' to OFF.

Thanks. I must be blind because I didn't see that arrow before lol

i love it so far. No snags on my 4.0 3GS yet. (well it did crash looking through my contacts once)

Can someone explain how dialing out works? I've read that it's not as simple as making a call through the webapp, and that you must dial the GV forwarding number first, enter pins, and other bull. If that's true then it's not even worth a buck at this point.

I would imagine it is the same as the webapp no?

Just tried placing a call. This is the message that pops up.

When you place a call, Google Voice calls you back on the selected "phone to ring". You answer, then the call is placed. If you don't like that, enable "offline dialing" located in the settings screen.

Damn man it's 2.99. If you wait and miss the window of opportunity, and the 2.99 is going to break your piggy bank, then you probably should not own an iPhone in the first place.

LOL. The App Store has created this bizarre category of people who will willingly spend hundreds of dollars for a phone plus the monthly phone/data plan, but will bitch and moan until they're blue in the face over a $3 app. It's quite fascinating.

I don't really see the use in this as it always logs you out!
I can just make a shortcut for google voice and itll stay logged in for a while because of my cookies.

Is there any way to stay logged in?

I bought the program. When typing an SMS the second line doesn't show up as you type?? That makes it very difficult to use . Without push, I'm thinking FAIL & wait for the official Google app??
