Neither of the GV apps pull your contacts list. That sucks. I do not want to add all my contacts from GV to my phones book. Lame.

Hey guys, I may be dense, but what is the "phone to ring" feature in settings? Is this the phone that will ring if someone calls your GV number?

FYI, still free as of 0910 EST.

In order to use this app we need to enter our Google Voice number and password (obviously). But does the author of this app have access to our info?

New update today....seems pretty good. I had given up on it in favor of the standard Google app, but now it has a way to set up push notifications. Pretty neat overall. Some users are reporting bugs on developer's website, but it's working great on my phone.

How does the dev make Push Notification work on a 3rd-party GV client? Do you have to forward your GV SMS/Voicemails to a custom e-mail address?

So I just ported my number to Google Voice, and I'm just started to find the best way to use it on my iPhone. For the most part, I just want to know if someone leaves me a voicemail, which I will get in my email anyway. I thought it would be nice to see a list of calls though, which is one reason I thought about getting an app for it. I doubt I would use it to make calls or send texts, but I might. Is GV+ the best way to do this? Something else in the app store? My iPhone is jailbroken, is there a better option with a jailbroken phone?

Anyway, just looking for info. I'll keep reading, I may find these answers, I may come up with more questions. Thanks for any input.
