It is, but i have to boot into a separate version of XP, with ALL their security stuff on it, so basically its a school computer, in my HD, and i don't get in trouble for hacking
The way they can do it legally is that the copy of XP is licensed to them, not me. (This also includes, not being able to add programs, and the ability for them to watch me)
and our school has macs (we had personal powerbooks for 2yrs, i went through 7 (various screen, and HD's)) so there is no mac filtering, but the macs have a separate wifi, which is easer to hack, but restricted with firewalls. the hidden one (which AP logger helped me find) is harder to get into, hidden, and has a fun password (but of course that didn't take long for me...)
