Don't think it works yet, works for iPad and iPhone but the content never loads properly (i.e. E-mail or Webpage). Maybe next DP/B :p

Same here, I can access it on my iPhone but it doesn't load completely and it doesn't work on Yosemite for me yet at least.

What would be the point of that? The OS can only be loaded on supported devices (unless you're talking about a hackintosh setup), and those supported devices wouldn't need a dongle.

Yes, it is. It's a beta, it'll be buggy for a bit.

Well it's not working for me. Did you do a fresh install on all devices?

Hmm Bluetooth LE could be the key, I dunno if the MBP 2011 models have that capability, but I know AirDrop is on my model, yet it doesn't see my iPhone 5 for some reason.

bluetooth issue.. handoff working though...

I got handoff working via safari from mac to phone... but i'm not seeing the phone calls on my computer when my phone rings?

any thoughts on how to get this to work or has anyone?

For those having issues: double check Handoff is enabled!

Settings > General > "Allow Handoff..."

Image

Could not see the setting on General... MacBook Air 2012 and Mac Mini 2011

Bluetooth is the key!!! Got this from another thread:

Working for me between my iPhone & mac now.

does it have Bluetooth 4.0?

I can only get Handoff to work for Safari.

If I start typing an iMessage on my phone, a Safari icon pops up on my Macbook. Same thing if I start typing an iMessage on my Macbook, Safari icon pops up on my phone.

I see the icon on Yosemite for my iPhone and iPad but how do I go from mac to phone or phone to iPad - where is the button or icon?

its gotta be something with BT version.

I have an iMac mid-2010 and I believe that has BT 2.1 and my bluetooth has never connected with my iPhone 5.

I wonder if thats something that can be fixed in the next DP or if I will need to buy a bluetooth 4.0 dongle.

I am using a Late 2013 MBP Retina and a iPhone 5s and I can't get handoff to work at all. I have changed the setting that is mentioned above and restarted all devices, but no luck

Just so that I understand, if my MacBook supports Airplay, it should support handoff as well? I have a mid-2012 MacBook Pro and it's not working.

I can't get handoff to work at all. 5s and mini retina both on same wifi bluetooth on. I've tried email over and over no luck. Also I can get sms on the iPad but can't make phone calls

I don't think handoff is fully ready on Yosemite yet.

Well it is a beta.

Honestly folks if something isn't working you need to go into your developer portal etc and report it. That way they can make sure there's not a comma off somewhere or such. That's half the reason they do these previews

lol, I was wondering why the hell it wasn't working, but it turns out I never turned my Bluetooth on. #fail

And it's working now?

My iPhone 5s, iPad Air and MBA '14 have issues pairing with each other now. I got Handoff to work for about 3 seconds, and then my devices just gave up all efforts to make pairing with each other work.

I would be glad to see that you don't need Bluetooth LE to use Handoff, or Continuity and AirDrop... I might have gotten Continuity to work once, I received an SMS on my Mac. But the other two won't work, Bluetooth fails to pair even after I tried a fix someone posted on here. Thats alright though, I know the next betas should have some new functions for devs to play with. :) *INDOOR MAPS*
