And it's working now?

My iPhone 5s, iPad Air and MBA '14 have issues pairing with each other now. I got Handoff to work for about 3 seconds, and then my devices just gave up all efforts to make pairing with each other work.

Not sure, haven't tested it out yet. But I saw someone else say turning on Bluetooth and restarting both devices works.

It's working fine between my iPhone and iPad, but I can't quite manage it with my MacBook

I'm confused... Do all the informations need to enable handoff delivered via local network? I thought it was some iCloud stuff like safari iCloud tabs.

Handoff works with my iPhone 5, Macbook air and iPad Air.

You have to turn on bluetooth on all the devices and pair them via bluetooth

The apple demos and literature seem to indicate that handoff is to be used between mac and IOS device.

Could someone confirm whether it would work between two IOS devices? I.e. You start an email on iPhone and then finish on an iPad? A post earlier in this thread seems to indicate you can but I'd be interested to know for sure.

So would this work with USB Bluetooth LE dongles? Hmm....anyone has one that can try it?

This one has native mavericks drivers, it would be a good one to play with to see if bluetooth can be added for those computers with older versions to allow them to work.

Hopefully we can just add this to our older systems if bluetooth 4.0 is required, I would hate to miss out on these must have features in my 2011 iMac.

Most likely yes. I remember Craig saying that if you have an iPad and an iPhone you can answer calls on your iPad. It stands to reason to assume that other modes of Handoff work the same.

Yes, all continuity features work between iPads and iPhones. Handoff, SMS, and instant hotspot are all live. Handoff seems so go be way less reliable between two iOS devices than between a Mac and an iOS device though

While many are having issues establish the handoff feature, I can confirm that the feature is active on Yosemite, but needs more refinement. At the moment is quite buggy with the bluetooth connection, but that will be addressed later on in the builds.

Thankyou very much for the confirmation

It started working for me between my iPhone 5s and iPad mini retina last night and I didn't connect Bluetooth with them

Does it have to be an 802.11n or ac to work?
Does it have to be an Apple Base Station in your house to make it work?
Any TCP port to configure in my router to make this service work?
