I can see the rMini sales dropping a lot when people start buying the new 5.5 " phone. I wonder if Apple is coming out with the rMini 2 in October along with the Air 2 or will it only be the Air 2 ? Like all the Touch users, you will start hearing that the rMini is not needed and that you should buy a 5.5" iPhone instead :D.

I guess, since it's another area that's had zero coverage, that the single mono speaker is still crap compared to the competition? Couldn't have used all that home button bezel space and top symmetry to put some front facing stereo speakers?

That Plus is just too large for my taste. I'll be getting a 4.7", as my 4s is getting tired.

5.5" is going to be less popular one being that it's $100 more and most people don't need phablet size. 4.7" is perfect one for me but I'll probably pass. I will wait for iPhone 6s with sapphire screen, the only selling point at this time for next iteration.

I was dead set on the 4.7" model, but due to the fact the 5.5" has a better camera, better battery, and better screen res that's what I will now be getting. The 5.5" has slightly worse contrast ratio however lol.

lol I think the 6+ looks insanley huge. Here's a crude comparison I made with my SGS5 -

How is that a fair comparison? Why not compare the iPhone 6+ to a Galaxy Note 4 instead?

I think they both have the same camera.

Going to order the Plus through Verizon. Friday at midnight. No wait, that would be 2 am Central time.

does anybody know when Apple retail stores would get these on display? I'd really love to be able to hold one in hand to get a feel for 4.7 vs 5.5.

Wrong, one has optical stablization which is night and day difference. :)

Ah, fair enough; i didn't pick up on that. Oh, that's a shame! I wanted the 4.7 but was looking forward to the image stabilisation. damn.

That 6+ looks like an iPad Mini. SMH I will never understand why someone needs a phone that large. Get a tablet.

Me either. Apple might have just seriously compromised the sales numbers of the iPad mini with this new ginormous phone though. Whatever.

Phones are still too small for me and way too expensive off contract for me to even consider anyways. Oh well.

Y'all enjoy your giant slab...errr....ummmm... "Phone".

:p
