So charging the phone and use the headphones at the same time is a not go. Not sure I like that, but hey... maybe they got some kind of awesome solution for this little conundrum?

Battery charging case that uses the smart connector on the back of the phone to charge the phone (leaving the Lightning port open for headphones). THIS sounds like Apple to me lol.

Sigh, it looks like the bezels will still be there. I figured they would make the 5.5" shorter.

So someone took rumors from rumor sites, created cases from them, calls them leaks, then the rumor sites call it proof of their rumors the case is based on?
Not really sure you know how much it would cost do do that?

So if this is true, we will see a nice price reduction on the wired Beats headphones. And for sure, no more wired headphones in the Apple Store, unless a lightning-to-jack adapter could be used but that's weird...

Sort of early for cases to be showing up... I'd say they are jumping the gun based on rumors and it's still up in the air. Way too early.

I do not know if i can handle two more years of big and ugly bezels

Yeah... life is rough.

Not really impressed, I would like to see some real innovation like Apple used to do. Lately it's just been subtle improvements to existing hardware. The bigger phone wasn't really an innovation because we all wanted that. I'm talking about the updates that we "didn't know we wanted" but saw it and then wanted it. The types of innovations that set Apple way ahead of the competition.
Aha because you wanna an iPhone looking like cube maybe? The form factor won't change anytime soon but keep spreading this nonsense.

I'm betting Apple doesn't call it the iPhone 7. Maybe the iPhone 6SE and 6 Pro, and saves the big redesign for the 10th anniversary. I just don't see enough changes here for them to call it a 7.

The supposed 1mm thinner of the iPhone 7 is from the screen. Remember, they went 1mm thicker from the 6 to the 6s because of 3D Touch. Seems they figured out a way to make the screen back to its original thickness with 3D Touch. But essentially it's the same case with minor tweaks .
I believe they did so, because the complete revision wasn't going to be ready in time so they went with plan b. It works out as next year is the 10th anniversary of the iPhone and it would be pretty cool to have a complete major overhaul for the occasion.

he is bashing and destroying the reputation of the iPhone but he really love doing video on these leaks because he is getting a lot of money on it. i subscribe to his channel a long time ago.

While a few different signs point to this potentially being the case, does anyone have any actual indicator of why they would all of a sudden break their two-year redesign schedule for some anniversary year? While it does look like a lot of the good tech will need to be held off until 2018 or so (OLED, OLED, and OLED), I don't see how they would just push an entire device (redesign) because of that. Seems like they're cutting all the corners on the iPhone 7, if that is the case. Stereo speakers? That's either going to be a huge innovation (meaning it's something else besides stereo speakers), or the biggest gimmick ever, in order to satiate customer's who are buying the 7.

Isn't that essentially what Apple Pay was as compared to simple NFC payments? I get the impression that Apple's next big moves will involve Homekit.

Yeah he always talks crap about apple, but the guy has super reliable connections with Chinese supply chains in general, and he is at least half coherent in terms of how the case relates to what might be coming down the line, so it's at least somewhat value-add.

Actually I read that they were moving ahead of schedule with OLED, pushing it a year ahead of schedule for 2017 instead of 2018.
I think they figured they had a lot of work ahead of them and made the iPhone 7 a stop-gap to free up engineering resources to make it happen.
I would imagine next years iPhone to be a huge leap forward in every sense. Wireless charging, OLED, dual cameras, 10nm chip, different materials, etc. all of these things were said to be ready no sooner that at least a year away.

I wonder what Apple is going to introduce to entice us into buying an iPhone 7.

I already don't like the idea of losing my headphone jack. I was mostly happy with my iPhone 5 when the 6 came out; I upgraded because I wanted a slightly bigger screen and Touch ID. Now that I have those, what killer feature will Apple try to hook us with on the iPhone 7?

Hopefully they'll surprise us with something amazing. However if they do eliminate the headphone jack, I may just upgrade to a 6S (which will surely be available second hand for cheap when the 7 comes out) so I'm only one generation behind, and hold onto it for a few more years.

Hell I'm mostly happy with my iPhone 6. Maybe I'll just hold onto that until it dies.

I wonder if the 5se will feature a headphone port. Would b funny if the smaller phone had a port and the larger ones did not -- to save space. They all use lighting ports so I can't see why Apple would push out a brand new model with a feature it wants to pull the plug on so to speak.

I hate silly season where 3rd party cases based on rumored schematics are considered newsworthy.

Maybe but following iPhone and Mac rumors is a silly hobby to begin with so makes sense to go all-in and take every data point for what it is and use logic and common sense from there. Otherwise, why bother? Beside I can only recall one time when some of the case makers really got it massively wrong, the iPhone 5. They've been on the mark every other time I think and they do provide a nice visual of real life use.

My assumption was stereo speakers would be top and bottom of device, for a stereo experience when watching video for example horizontally. That better be flush cameras all round.
