Where did the "horizontal album cover view" go??? The 8.4 update basically destroyed the most convenient way to browse through your purchased albums on your iPhone.

Oh, so YOU'RE the guy that liked horizontal view! I was wondering why it stuck around for so long. I never quite understood the point of this view given it didn't show you what was actually PLAYING.

But seriously, the interface is insane. It promotes ADD. Frankly I came across a few songs I liked by bands I'd never heard of, but now I have no idea who they were or what the song was. Gone...vanished. And, I don't quite understand how to get new "For You" stuff on the list. Everything offered "for me" is either stuff I already own, really don't care about or Taylor Swift.

By the way it didn't take long for Beats 1 to crash. as of 8:47 pm ET, it no worky.

I'm suddenly longing to sit on the floor in front of my no-longer existent CD rack with a copy of CMJ New Music Monthly to decide what discs I'm going to buy from Columbia Music Club at $18 each.

Yes, there's an outage, that's known, I was just saying that it doesn't seem to affect everyone (thus not exactly "worldwide").

In any case, it seems to be back up.

All they have to do is open the new music app and they're in!

This is not working.. When I open music app on the wifes phone, the sign up page appears asking individual or family plan.

Only if Autotune is working. Ever heard her live? I saw her perform at the Grammies and it was an embarrassment for the music community to honor someone with magical talent. I gave it the benefit of the doubt because as a performer myself, I know sometimes things go wrong on stage and you can't hear things properly. She performed again at another awards show with Chisty McVie from Fleetwood Mac, again, off key.

Working flawlessly for me on the West Coast of Canada. I've listened to a ton of streaming radio stations (my preferred way of listening to music), but there's just something even more exciting about listening to a radio station by the Apple crew.
