The only similarity with 100 is apocalypse. That's all. And it is far from rubbish. If it's not to your liking it does not mean it is rubbish, it looks well made with decent acting. When you say rubbish it sounds like it is B movie level and it is not.
Anybody know how long the "free with a new device" will last before one HAS to sign up? For instance, I bought the iPhone 11 on launch day, but nothing on AppleTV+ appeals to me in the least yet. What are the odds I can wait until Apple builds up a back catalog (maybe next year, or in 2027...?) before I can activate the deal? Is there an expiration date involved?

I watched the first episode last night and quite enjoyed it. If the second episode is SJW nonsense then I'll soon switch it off.
Unfortunately not. Only iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, Apple TV, or Mac.
Got the one free year subscription with the purchase of an iphone and that's more than enough for me.
Apple TV+ is 👎👎 in my book. Although its a little more, I prefer Hulu by orders of magnitude. Apple's storylines are too predictable and programming limited.

I completely agree - hence my comment about hoping the content would have been more PG and less MA. It would have been nice to enjoy some of these stories. If the content continues towards the MA side I’ll gladly unsubscribe. I realize not everyone feels this way (to each their own), but there are a enough who do that I figured Apple would have taken this into consideration - especially until they had a good amount of content.
These comments regarding the language used in the shows are laughable. You are watching shows that are clearly rated TV-MA. No one is hiding the fact that you may see some adult-oriented content, and you should not be surprised.
And for the people who think naughty words aren’t realistic, you haven’t been outside or in an office in the U.S. Professional or not, people use language that most folks would find objectionable.

Also... enough with the SJW comments. I swear the anti-SJW sentiment is more annoying than the SJW content. What’s the point of thought provoking entertainment if it isn’t thoughtful? Maybe avoid these programs in the future? I don’t know.

The biggest problem with this service is they have no catalog so what that means is their (POS) app is 99% content that I have no subscription for. Even if this service survives a decade they still wont come anywhere near the amount of content as the competition.
Its just not a good quality service and if it wasnt free I would never subscribe to it.

Despite having 'free' access to the service due to my Apple Music sub, I have barely spent any time with it at all. The only show that even somewhat-sorta appealed to me was For All Mankind, and that held my interest for all of 30mins before I soured on the maudlin melodrama and switched it off.
my question is, what am I missing. You pay $4.99 for the supposedly monthly streaming service, then there are maybe 25 shows, but when looking for kids stuff as an example, you have to subscribe AGAIN to other providers, to see these shows. that is a load of crap!!! again what am I missing PLEASE??
Way to revive a dead topic. Maybe the service just isn’t for you. Like how Van Gogh does nothing for me. Different tastes.
