Samsung Galaxy S3. The 6+ is my first ever iPhone. Owning an iPad for over 2 years and a Macbook Pro for the past year made me anxious to have the complete experience. I was only holding out for a larger screen size.

I didn't ditch. Loved my 5S, and it is still in the family - I have two lines on my account and so I always pass my phone down to my daughter after a year, and get the new one. This always leaves me eligible for an upgrade every year. ;)

Still using my now over 3 year old 4S since my 6+ is still on back order. (fracking AT&T!!!). I didn't anticipate the crazy demand as I got my 4S the day after launch. I'm surprised at the number of people who upgraded so soon after the 5 series. I didn't see either the 5 or 5S as worth upgrading to but I believe that the time has come with the 6 series... :apple:

Happy 6+ users.. What phone did you ditch for it?

Kind of new to the smartphone thing. Started October '13. Note 3, exchanged for the 5s, traded in the 5s for the 6 Plus.

My first iphone was the 3gs, followed by a 4. That did me for a while until I thought I'd try a samsung s3. Not for me (really nice screen though). I went back to the 4 until i got my 6+.

I replaced my minty but heavily used iPhone 4 32GB Black with a 6+ SG 128GB. The 4 was recycled at the Apple store and I got a $60 instant credit.

i dont want to say i ditched my phone, but i wanted to give iOS a second chance- went from a HTC M8

A 3 1/2 yr. old LG G2X.

T-Mo didn't have iPhones then. Almost upgraded to a 5S last year, but heard rumors about a bigger iPhone. Glad I waited, love my 6+.

I'm using my new 6 Plus as my daily driver and love it so far. I'm keeping my 6 for my T-Mobile prepaid back up service.

Ditched isn't quite the right word, but I am no longer using my LG G3.

Both phones have their strengths and weaknesses, but for now I feel the 6+ is working out best for me.

Last one was 5S but I have had every iPhone since 07 besides the 6 because I went with the 6 Plus
