Maybe this is just me but my regular iPhone 6 Plus is doing just fine for my day to day.

Slightly nervous to see how the new iOS software will affect my device. That might be the planned obsolescence that forces me to upgrade based off of performance alone. I know some of you are thinking to just not update but there's some really cool features that I don't want to miss out on because of that. It's a catch 22 honestly

iPhone 6 will be fine on IOS 10.Even an iPhone 5 is running iOS 10 good.maybe in future IOS updates . The extra RAM will be necessary. However, first they should dropped all 32 bit devices left

One comes free in the box. Not sure there's an issue.

That's just for my car. I'll need 3 more, and I still can't monitor with my lightening-based instrument input device. Plus, plugging into other people's gear. This sucks for musicians.

$9 for extra ones. Maybe you can start a gofundme for your $27 outlay.

Ok. So now I have 3 for headphones, I still need to carry another one in my pocket for connecting to other devices on the go, I need a $39 Belkin adapter (added to the other adapter) to listen and charge at the same time, and I still can't use my guitar to iPhone interface, so I'd have to spend another $200 on one that works. So, I'm at about $300 extra, and I have to carry an adapter around all the time. No thanks. I'll be looking at the 6S or SE this weekend.

This made me think about the iPhone 7 for a second. You know all those times you pull the phone out of your pocket accidentally hitting Siri in the process, surely I'm not the only one, having the pressure sensitive soft button could make this worse or fix the issue completely.

Random thought I know, just trying to think about all the things that may go right or wrong with it. Phil got me with the phrase, "all those people that got the iUP last year get the new phone this year so you should too". Darn it, I know it's a trap to sell more of these things but it was a classic Steve Jobs reality distortion. So I may jump on the bandwagon.

It's not like I wasn't already tempted with the "telescopic" lens on a mobile phone, adding water resistance, the quad core processor, the jet black color, the fancy videos (especially the one with Jony Ive saying "aluminum"), the tad increase of battery life, and the stereo speakers.

Great points.

Though that has happened for me a few times over the years, it's been a very, very rare occurrence for myself - though it's likely been more frequent for other people

It Would be a positive move for those people who have had this happen frequently for whatever reason

There will be an adjustment period; some people will adjust no doubt (and perhaps grow to prefer it) but others will shake their fists at apple and perhaps move to a 6s or alternative device that has physical buttons

I think those who prefer to use 3D touch (I'm in that camp) will adjust best because we would be used to multitasking using 3D touch, not double pressing the home button (which is where I predict much of the frustration with this new home button will primarily come from...as it's not much of an issue if you are only pressing it once here and there)

iOS 10 runs great on the iPhone 5 and 5c, so hopefully it's smooth on the 6+ as well

I've never been a fan of the 6+ for multiple reasons but I do hope yourself and other 6+ users end up with a fantastic user experience with iOS 10
