Does anyone know if the hardware diagnostic test has changed in MacOS Big Sur? When I restart my machine and hold the "D" key, it appears to send it into recovery mode.

Diagnostic mode does not depend on macOS. It is part of the EFI firmware.

I know several people on here have had problems getting the test to load on the M1. Apple has been made aware of the problem and is supposedly working on a fix.
