Well, JK Rowlings is worth a net $1 billion. I mean, that's not all that much money."Harry Potter and the Unbelivable Cash Machine"

Anybody see The Daily Show recently? They were talking about the guy who plays Harry Potter in the movies, who is going to appear nude in London in the play "Equus". The on-screen graphic for this story was "Harry Potter and the Magic Wand".Harry Potter and the Horrible Book Name
The world's most famous wizard is seen lunging over a pile of treasure in the cover of the seventh and final book in the Harry Potter series.
Potter's best friends, Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger, also feature on the children's edition of the book, which was unveiled by publishers Bloomsbury.
The adult version of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows shows a pendant embossed with a jewel-encrusted 'S'.
...
But the text on the book covers gives nothing away.
"Harry has been burdened with a dark, dangerous and seemingly impossible task," reads the back of the adult version.
"He must leave the warmth, safety and companionship of The Burrow and follow without fear the inexorable path laid out for him."
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows is due to be released on 21 July.
I posted way back in the day in an older HP thread, but I just love love love the UK versions of the books (like the covers). They're so much classier.![]()
I think I prefer the US image actually.
Only four months to go! I'll have to go place an order somewhere soon.
And the full US cover is here!
It's worth noting that neither Harry or LV has a wand. I guess they've progressed beyond wand-magic at the time of this confrontation. It looks unfinished to me - like maybe there should something in Harry's hand?

I can't wait for it either.
I wouldn't go so far as to say I am obsessed, but I really enjoy the simple but involving nature of the HP series.

It appears that the final Harry Potter installment cannot come soon enough for the publisher Bloomsbury.
What are they going to do when the series is finished?
Not that there's anything wrong with that...I won't be dressing up like Harry or going to any store parties
Close...or make some spin off book
