Excellent...should be able to get it for about $16-$17 at Costco then. :D
That reminds me. This time I must check out the price at Sainsbury's before just buying at Waterstones. There was a £3 difference last time.

Someone else told me the name of the last book was:

"Harry Potter and the Unbelivable Cash Machine"

Is that not true? :(

Not bad for an illiterate eunuch native to Antarctica!

Oh, which is a new character in "Harry Potter and the Unbelivable Cash Machine".. his name is Dangleless.

Final Potter book jacket unveiled

The world's most famous wizard is seen lunging over a pile of treasure in the cover of the seventh and final book in the Harry Potter series.

Potter's best friends, Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger, also feature on the children's edition of the book, which was unveiled by publishers Bloomsbury.

The adult version of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows shows a pendant embossed with a jewel-encrusted 'S'.

...

But the text on the book covers gives nothing away.

"Harry has been burdened with a dark, dangerous and seemingly impossible task," reads the back of the adult version.

"He must leave the warmth, safety and companionship of The Burrow and follow without fear the inexorable path laid out for him."

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows is due to be released on 21 July.

It looks unfinished to me - like maybe there should something in Harry's hand?
It's worth noting that neither Harry or LV has a wand. I guess they've progressed beyond wand-magic at the time of this confrontation.
Highlight for spoilery thoughts:
Looks to me like they're headed for a trip through the veil in the department of mysteries...

I can't wait for it either.
I wouldn't go so far as to say I am obsessed, but I really enjoy the simple but involving nature of the HP series.

Cheers,
Kane Elson

Agreed. There's certainly something to be said for a well-written, interesting and involving series.

So while I won't be dressing up like Harry or going to any store parties, I'll certainly enjoy the finale when it arrives.

A few years back, in a different forum, we had a thread that suggested titles for several possible Harry Potter sequels.

It went on for three pages, and got quite hilarious. I remember a couple of titles: "Harry Potter and the Giant Wand" and "Harry Potter and the Sticky Gym Sock". Yeah, it went that direction. :p

I hear that the Japanese title of Deathly Hallows is currently 死の秘宝, which can be roughly translated as "the secret/mysterious treasure of death". But I just read that; can't vouch for the Japanese!

I think Harry Potter is the only thing I like more than Macs. (maybe it is a tie:p )

I just can't wait to see how the book ends.

The books names normally don't give a lot of information. Like in the Half-Blood Prince, or the Goblet of Fire.

I have so many theories about what can happen that they are driving mad.
