Is there anyone clambering for a folding phone?
People want better camera and battery life. I have never read an article when someone said Jeeeez I want to fold my phone in half.
I mean it’s great tech I just don’t see it as a huge deal
People who want 8 inch screens in a 4 inch form factor? When perfected, I think this could be huge. I'd love to have a pocketable device that opens into a much bigger one--like the size and shape of a good sized wallet. Functionality could exist while it's in a folded state for calls, notifications, etc. and can be opened up for full screen experience. I think it will be a while before it catches on and the cost would be off putting to some. I heard Samsung's will be in the $2k range when (if) it's released. (I also read they can't decide if it should fold vertically or horizontally.
