Unless you subscribe through Apple, they don’t get a cut of that I don’t think right? My guess is that Netflix isn’t building a native app because they don’t want to give Apple a cut of the subscription.
Yeah reminds me when first iPhone had only edge and not even 3g. Then the next ones came and were a huge improvement in every way. If people are patient and can wait for gen 2, I suspect it’ll be worth itI wasn't considering it at all (I can use the money as down payment on a car ffs) but the fact that it doesn't have WiFi 6E really puts me off and it wreaks if the usual first-generation Apple products that usually get left behind because Apple "learned" from the initial first-gen and then made their improvements based on that but then screwing over early adopters.
I rather wait it out and let them figure it out first and then grab the 2nd or 3rd gen, it will have things ironed out and maybe even cheaper due to more mass production and less issues.
Then you never bought a 75” OLED.I personally cant imagine spending that kind of money just to watch tv
Love him and great video! I am so darn excited for this!!! Wish we didn't have to wait 2 weeks!I was on the fence for a pre-order today, but after watching this preview video on YT just posted, I am convinced to order it.
Apple Vision Pro Hands-On: My COMPLETE Walkthrough!
Yes. Thats literally what they said. There is no need to build an app if there is no demand yet when the browser will suffice for now.No YouTube or Netflix? Can you elaborate on that? Even if they don’t make native VisionOS apps, wouldn’t we still be able to watch via a web browser?
I wonder why no seems to be interested in making VR glasses that just serve as a replacement for a monitor/TV, not an all-in-one computing device. Everyone seems to just want to use this as a big screen TV, and that would be my primary interest as well. I already have an M2 computing device, I don’t need another one. I don’t care about the stupid cameras that let people see your eyes, which just seems like it’s going to be the first thing to go in the inevitable lower-priced version. How much would Apple VR cost (and weigh) if it was just an ultra high-res monitor replacement without 36 cameras and spatial tracking or whatever. Give me something with a power cord and a Thunderbolt port to connect my Mac and Apple TV to and I’d be happy.

They don't ship to a freight forwarder because the Vision Pro is an item in very limited stock right now — and only meant for the US market. The irony is after all that, Apple canceled my order without notice because they say they don't ship to freight forwarders.
Except of course they do, because they did earlier in the week.
Oh well.
/edit
And of course the "we don't ship to freight forwarders" is a complete lie, because they did exactly that with another order I placed earlier in the week precisely for the purposes of checking whether or not they would ship to a freight forwarder.
Why would I not be able to use it with my Apple ID?They don't ship to a freight forwarder because the Vision Pro is an item in very limited stock right now — and only meant for the US market.
Why not simply wait a few months until the Vision Pro launches in more countries? Especially because you wouldn't be able to use it with your Apple ID anyway, even if they did ship it to the freight forwarding company.
