Before I put my iPhone in the Candy Shell I had the AT&T person put on the Zagg on the back and front.

Haven't taken it out of the candy shell to see?

I am pretty sure the OP was talking about the case itself scratching very easily on the back and not the case scratching the phone. ;)
 
I contacted speck and straight-up asked them why they haven't shipped replacements

This is there reply

"We have a HUGE demand for those and we are scrambling to get them. Here is the situation.
AT&T has dibs all on the new cases, so yes you can get the new cases at AT&T but I do not even have them on the Speck website yet. As soon as I get them they will say ADD TO CART and we can replace yours. We have hundreds of people waiting for them.
Of course we will still replace your case in 1-3 weeks or whatever time frame Operations gives me, I do not make this stuff up but the info can change. I am merely the messenger. Operations is working their butts off.
Trust me this making my job way harder!!! I want these more than you!

We thank you for your patience is resolving this matter."
 
AT&T does have them. The rep at the store last week told me that these are the new and revised ones. They have oval shape for back camera/flash.

Nice case in my opinion.

The Camera Cutout was too small and caused flash issues. Plus the rubber would easily peel and the case was a bit flimsy
 
Funny, I got the same stock email reply as you scarboy! First They really need to hire costumer service staff that you can, at the very least write a letter! It was so bad it was hard to read. Honestly my 10 year old knows you wouldn't use words like "dibs" and "butts" in a professional letter. One of the first rules of customer service is to validate the consumers opinion, so I'm not sorry this is making your job so hard. Maybe time to rethink your career goals?! Lastly, do you really want me to to believe that you want this case more than I do. (well at this point that may be possible) Epic fail Speck, epic fail.

Ya, I got frustrated. So I just bought the Revised edition. I emailed them Back and Asked to send me a Geometric instead. They were nice enough to already ship it out and they also sent me a free pack of screen shields
 
I got the same email last week from Speck...1 to 3 weeks
I can't believe that they are pulling BS like that on us..HUGE demande on a case ...
 
Another response from "erik" yesterday:

"Good news for you! It ships at the earliest tomorrow Friday or Monday at the latest. Sorry for the delay! We will email you when it ships from our warehouse. We are sending them 2nd Day FedEx and including a Shield View which is a 3 pack of Screen Protectors + 1 Rear protector for the back of the phone. Thanks for your patience and understanding."

At this point, until I actually have the case I can only believe this is another round of BS.

i was told that mine would be shipped this week... but I'm seriously considering SwitchEasy Reptile now.
 
Erik is a liar. I was told that it would ship last Friday. Don't trust him. I don't know if he is making this information up or if he is being given information from someone else from Speck. Either way I do not trust a word he says.

Erik is Full of Crap, I dealt with him once and it was a nightmare. Janelle is wayy better, everytime I got in contact with her, I got what I needed.

That's right, no one has received them yet. At this point the only way speck will regain my support is if it sends me an extra case or two along with the candyshell. I don't like being lied to over and over again.
 
Still waiting on mine..i have been dealing with Eric. I put in my warranty request on the 30th of June. He said this week Monday or Tuesday. I'm glad they are throwing in some screen protectors but i mean..this has just been a disaster for them. The candy-shells probably are one of the top 5 cases out right now and they could of handled the situation a tad better.
 
Got mine today with a pack of screen shields. Well worth the wait as I started to get tired of my Incase Slider.
 
I also received mine today ... and also got the 3 pack of shield view protectors. My only complaint, aside for the wait, is the free protectors are anti-glare .. I hate anti-glare but i'm sure I can find a friend or co-worker that can use them.

I have to admit .. their timing was off, but when they do deliver, they do a good job!
 
I just received mine today with 3 pack of shield view protectors. Loving it so far, totally worth the wait guys, just give them some extra time to clear out their waiting list.

I will not buy a speck product, there are many options out there now. All they seem to be doing is screwing over their customers.


(and seriously, who really wants their screen protectors?!)
 
I also came home to find my candyshell replacement has arrived.

The flash deal was never a big deal for me as I rarely take photos or take photos in low-light conditions, I do like the fact it is corrected still :)
 
Got my replacement case today in Fedex....it also had a set of shieldview screen protectors with it. By the way, i was emailed by Erik that i will get my replacement case in a day or so and exactly in a day i got them.
