Just added Wells Fargo and Amex. Will test out soon. If it works well I'll also add my Navy Federal Visa.

EDIT: Interesting, I just tried to add my Chase Military Star MasterCard and it says not supported.

I tried to add the debit card from my credit union and it's not supported. Too bad because it is by far my most used method of payment.

My credit union just said they plan to implement Apple Pay by years end. Lame, but at least it's coming.

Wait, so Barclay, aka The Apple Credit Card, wouldn't load? Crazy.

Hahahaha! That's messed up. Apple needs to get someone else who doesn't suck to underwrite their credit cards.

I think Citibank would be a good call. They do the Best Buy cards.

I emailed my credit union and they said they were looking into it. If not I'm moving over to Navy Federal. They support Apple Pay.

USAA was on the list, but mine won't activate. Tried a couple of others including a non-debit USAA card and no joy.

Edit: Looks like 11/7 for USAA and Apple Pay. Confirmed here.

2 for 2 in adding cards (Chase debit and Chase cc), added with no issue. Held up iPhone near a vending machine with nfc, cc showed up on lock screen. Didn't buy just a quick try to see if it would show. Tried on a different machine with nfc, card showed up. Bought something this time, quick and easy. Can't wait to use it more!

I was able to load and verify a Chase, Capital One, and Bank of America card. A second Chase card (Amazon) didn't work. My iTunes Rewards Barclaycard didn't work, which I find hilarious, and obviously my USAA debit card didn't work as USAA doesn't have day one support for :apple: Pay.

I'm waiting for an American Express Serve card to arrive. I'm very curious if this will be supported. It's an AE card, but it's prepaid, so it may not work the same way as a charge card/credit card from AE.

Haven't gotten to pay with it yet, but I checked that MasterCard Nearby app and noticed several contactless payment POS terminals on the UCLA campus, where I go to school.

Nope because none of my banks are compatible yet.

I assume they're in the '500' list due for sometime later this year/early next year.

Meh, :apple:Pay is not *that* convenient anyway just yet considering not too many people have NFC enabled checkouts (from experience with Google Wallet). But, since it's Apple we're talking about here I have no doubt I'll see a lot more NFC checkouts soon (Whole Foods yesterday have banners next to the card reader advertising it's compatible with :apple:Pay)

I don't mind the wait because I'll have it on my :apple:Watch by then (really handy) and hopefully there will be a lot more readers by then anyway.

In the mean time, Android users are going to have a field day considering the NFC checkouts will work with Google Wallet too (and my MasterCard NFC credit card!)

Not right now. NFCU person here and neither of my cards are supported right now. Neither is Simple

Just used it successfully at Walgreens to pick up a pack of Energizer Ultimate Lithium batteries. The only card I have registered is my Bank of America debit card. When I went to pay, the pin pad prompted me to enter my PIN. I wanted to see what would happen if I instead hit the "Credit" button, so I did, and that completed the transaction (without a signature requirement). Is this expected behavior (PIN prompt on debit cards, no sig requirement for credit)?

How much was the items? I think under $25 does not require a signature.

That makes sense. If you want to use your debit card as a debit card, you need to put in your pin, regardless of how you're submitting the debit card through the terminal (swipe or tap). If you want to run it as credit, it doesn't require the pin.

Okay, I guess it just sort of surprised me because I was expecting to have to do nothing but lay my thumb across the touch sensor. I should have expected the PIN verification step to remain. Thanks.

I just got an email from Navy Fed. They're launching Apple Pay in November. Sweet.

They will be in November. Did you get their email a few minutes ago?

Navy Fed, I mean.

:)

Just purchased a Mtn Dew from the machine at my work. I got some strange looks from a guy sitting next to the machine lol. Worked flawlessly. Never had to unlock or anything, just stick it up there, select my card (didn't want to use my default just to try a different card), placed finger on TouchID and boom. Mtn Dew on it's way.

PNC, NFCU, and Barclaycard were a no-go. The cards from these issuers happen to be the cards that I actually use the most. I'll check with their customer service directly to find out when they will be active. My hope is within a few days.

Bank of America and Capital One both activated with no problems. BofA is a debit card and that account was just opened - didn't plan on using it much. CapOne is used occasionally. I just wanted to see if they would activate since the cards from the first three companies did not.

I guess I've lucked out. I've been able to add my BofA Visa debit, BofA Mastercard, Chase Slate Visa, and Amex Blue Cash Preferred without issue.

primary card, secondary cards

From reading up on apple pay, it seems like we dont even have to unlock the phone.

My question is, lets say I got several credit cards registered on passbook. When I want to pay for something without unlocking the phone, how do I select which credit card from apple pay I want to use?

Can someone who used the system already explain plz.

Thanks.
