Very true brother. Tempted to do the same. Might just go WiFi only if this is the case. Don't ever use GPS on my iPad and with continuity, my iPad will always be connected anyway. Don't know if it's worth the extra $130 plus $10 a month with AT&T.

I thought about going WiFi only, but I do not plan on upgrading this iPad for quite some time, and I don't want to risk wanting it later, when its not that much more after the $100 dollar credit. You never know what you might want/need in the future.

This is very true. I've only owned 1 Wifi only model of the iPad and I had severe buyers remorse. I think that's my answer.
 
Ordered a silver 128 GB iPad Air 2 LTE on 10/17, received a shipping estimate of 10/27-10/31, been "preparing to ship" ever since with no movement.

It's 10/28 now (of my 10/27-10/31 shipment window) and still "preparing to ship." :confused:
 
My store has gotten in a 64GB Gold and a 16GB Silver one. I ordered a 128GB Space Gray on the first pre order day and my shipment date is scheduled for 11-3/11-7.

Originally had the WiFi only one on Friday. Decided to go with the cellular version so I returned it and ordered one from BestBuy. Looks like it will be shipping today. 64GB Silver.
 
Why so long?

Started my order on 10/20, but thanks to AT&T's non-functioning sales and accounting department, it did not process until 10/24. I ordered a 128 GB SG and have a shipping window of 11/4-11/13. I will post when shipped.

That sucks...I have no idea what is taking AT&T so long. If it wasn't for wanting to pay for this on AT&T Next, I would have canceled the order a long time ago and gone with Apple. There is just no excuse for this long delay. Not when the majority of Apple Stores have them in stock.

How interesting...You ordered the same model/color that I did, 4 days after me, and yet your shipping time is a week earlier then mine. Hopefully yours ships soon!!
 
I just received the gold 64gb ipad from att. Well, FedEx delivered it this afternoon. I was worried I would miss the delivery guy.
 
Got annoyed by AT&T yesterday. I rec'd an email saying my card had declined. I was surprised because I just paid that card off last week. I called back and gave the same number and it went through fine. My shipping date then slipped to 11/5-11/14 which was bs as it was 10/27-10/31 originally. After calling AT&T I was told they couldn't help me as I had to to speak to the premiere dept sunce im on corp discount. I spent a total of 2 1/2 hours on hold (though it was at different calls, since I would get tired after holding for 20 minutes). Finally I got a hold of the premiere line and the girl said she couldn't help me, they were just the order confirmation line.

I cancelled that order and found that a store near my job has one in stock. I placed an order for in-store pickup hopefully i'll get it tomorrow.
 
Ordered my Gold 64GB through AT&T on 10/24. Had shipping dates of 10/27-10/31 and received it via FedEx yesterday afternoon.
 
I ordered my 128GB silver from the AT&T site on the 17th also. 27-31 shipping date, and it's been preparing for shipment since day one.

This morning the shipping estimate changed to "pending confirmation" and about 2 hours later I got the email that it had shipped. FedEx says I should have it tomorrow. Good luck to those still waiting.

Ordered the silver model, same configuration as you, on the morning of 10/17, with a ship date of 10/27-10/31. It's been "preparing to ship" the whole time. I hope this means mine will ship shortly as well.
 
Seems the only people still without iPad Air 2's from AT&T are the Space Grey 64/128GB pre orders.
 
I just spoke with a customer service rep. He said the unit I ordered is in stock and I should definitely receive it before my estimate window expires (there are only two days left). He couldn't explain why people who ordered the same configuration after me have already received their orders. He said sometimes ordering it over the phone or in an ATT store (I ordered online) affects processing times. Who knows? Dammit, ATT!
