Carrier Has Anyone Who Pre-Ordered Through AT&T Actually Gotten Their iPad Air 2 Yet?

Picked up my 64gb gold air 2 from a store. I'm currently using my ipad 3 for the last day...I'll probably give it to the wife :cool:
 
Still waiting on my 64GB Gold that was ordered early on 10/17. Has been stuck at Preparing to ship since then, and has a shipping estimate of 10/27 - 10/31 :confused:

I think our situation is the same. 128 silver ordered on the 17th with expected shipping from 27-31 oct. Hope the rep was correct, so we can get our iPads in our hands this week.

I ordered a 128 Space Gray on the 21st and it has a shipping window of 10/27-31 as well. Hoping that the same is true for my iPad as well. Hopefully I will have the iPhone 6 though by Thanksgiving.
 
Spoke with another ATT rep. This one told me that they're still waiting to receive inventory directly from Apple for the higher capacity models. She seemed confident that things should resolve by Monday at the latest but who knows at this point.

Sounds like great news. Monday is the first day of my shipping window, so I'm really hoping it ships then.

Well that's disappointing. I set aside my whole weekend to play with my new ipad. :p

I wonder what the process is. Is there a specific production line in the chinese factory which inserts the AT&T SIM?

Must be an awfully small line if it takes them over 2 weeks to produce any significant volume to ship to AT&T. Even people on the Verizon thread have seen their's ship faster then ours! It's crazy!

It's frustrating because the Apple Store clearly has the 128 GB LTEs in stock but my local ATT store only appears to be receiving shipments of the 16 GB models.
 
I almost hate to post this, as it seems some others here haven't been as lucky, but I walked into an AT&T store Wednesday evening and ordered an iPad Air 2 (64GB, Space Gray). At the time, the shipping estimate for that particular iPad Air 2 at ATT.com said "will ship in 7 to 14 business days," but I got a notification last night (only ~30 hours later) that my iPad had shipped, with delivery expected on Monday, Nov. 3. Perhaps priority is given to orders placed in a store.

My order was placed in a store on 10/21, 128gb SG LTE, with ship dates 10/27-10/31, well it is now 8:19pm and still no word on shipping or nothing. No word from AT&T at all. checked the order status and it is still unchanged since 10/21, "Preparing to Ship, estimated ship date 10/27-10/31" Not happy.

I'm happy for you, brother. But as someone who preordered the same model an hour after preorders went live IN THE STORE, this pisses me off beyond belief. My shipping window is still 11/3 through 11/7.

Sorry about that. As I said, I kind of hated to post my message above, but I thought I'd add it as a data point for the thread. Hope you get yours soon.

No need to be sorry man. Be happy you got yours. I didn't mean to sound like a selfish idiot, just definitely shows they have no friggin idea what they're doing. I'm sure it'll ship Monday when it's supposed to. Thanks for the insight.
 
My status just changed from "preparing to ship" to "backordered". The estimated shipping date of 27-31 Oct has been erased, and now it's just blank. :(

Same here, I received an email from AT&T at 12:16am stating that my iPad was now on back-order. No estimate of shipping at all.
