Has iPhone 4 hurt Apple's credibility?

Or just people who happen to like and standby certain products they enjoy. My mom has had apple products for years, she's 55, is she a fanboy? No, she's just loya to a company she thinks makes good products for her needs....this fanboy stuff is so lame, cant people like a certain product?

Not sure, but I will say Apple ignoring the iPad's wifi issues for months already and now passing the iP4's reception problems as no big deal are pissing off lots of people.

Right, and you have 100% credible proof that they have been ignoring the iPad WiFi issues, and not working diligently to solve them?

The only people I see being "pissed" are the ones that enjoy arguing on the internet. Friends I know, people at the Apple retail stores, etc seem to be doing just fine with both the iPad and the iPhone4.

You think it takes months for a company like Apple to fix wifi issues? If so, they must really suck. HTC just released a fix for their wifi and grounding issues on the Evo and its only been 2 weeks
