I've seen a few people say they will upgrade now it's confirmed when they were previously going to skip upgrading.

anybody doing this?

I ordered it yesterday morning at 12:08, but I am extremely happy to hear that it has 2GB. I probably would've have returned it if the experience suffered from Apple continuing to use a measly 1GB of ram.
It's the least they can do after their "f**k you" to the consumer by still keeping a base of 16GB.

Already ordered one. Will the extra RAM huge a big difference? My 6 Plus seems fine.

Not complaining, more is good, just curious. :)

I ordered it without knowing about the 2GB of RAM. I'm not one of the RAM brigadiers and feel that my 6 plus gets along just fine with 1GB, however I have to admit that my air 2 flies. I'm happy to know that my 6 S plus will also have 2GB of RAM.

I thought the 6+ always had 2 go ram? Guess I was wrong. We're talking about the 6 model getting a bump to 2gb here right?

Already ordered one myself, but I would have been tempted to return it if it turned out to only have 1 GB. Maybe gotten just the 6 instead. I deal with RAM issues every day with my 4S with 512 MB (can't play Apple music and clash of clans at the same time) and I don't think 1 GB would be suitable for 2-3 years.
Also I am planning to buy another phone in the next few months for a friend and the RAM upgrade will certainly help me be sure to get the 6s instead of the 6 there.

Not just the RAM, but yes, that played a big role in my decision to upgrade my 6 Plus. That combined with the new camera, 3D Touch and (finally) always-on Siri sealed it for me.

2 gb ran combined with the new processor and these phones are gonna be screaming fast! I'm usually not an "s" upgrader but the specs on this phone as well as the iOS specific improvements to this phone made it hard to say no.

My iPhone 6 is already fast as hell so I can't imagine! Can't wait!

It's a very welcome improvement and I say it's about time. Most flagship phones that aren't the iPhone have had it three and a half years now. Very excited. This is going to be a very, very fast phone.

Yes 100%, If the 6s wasn't getting the bump in RAM, I probably would of decided to buy a LG G4 out of disgust LOL. The base storage thing wasn't an issue for me since I was planning on buying the 64GB model anyways.

I pre-ordered before knowing it had 2GB of ram but I know 1GB wouldn't have been enough, I would've been very displeased because as an iPhone 6 Plus user I know how much we needed this.

YESSSS. My dream is for Apple to put multi window on the Plus. I know it's a long shot, but with the rumored 9.1 jailbreak floating around maybe it can be accomplished.
