LOOOL!

Same thing happened to me when I got my DS lite - every "toilet session" is now much more time consuming *ARGL* :D

No. But it did change the way I look at phones and yes, I believe it has changed The Spaz 's life.

In a way, it has changed how I interact with the world.

Situation: 20 minutes to go before I leave home to catch the bus.

Before, I would sit on my computer and read news from individual sites/browse forums, etc. Now I read news whilst on the bus.

I tend to read my RSS feeds more on my iPhone as well as social networking (the PC name for stalking).

Soon after I got my first iPhone2G....I sold my laptop. There was almost no need for it anymore.

When I took a dump, I used to play Tecmo Bowl on an ORIGINAL Gameboy.

Now I can play all sorts of stuff on the iPhone. :D

With an opponent, or do you just play with yourself? :)

- track my appointments
- send text messages
- let me create, edit and send Word and Excel files
- carry all my photos, music and movies
- show me what's on TV and playing in the movie theatres
- record video, take pictures and edit them
- check the weather
- take notes and voice recordings
- surf the web and write emails
- stream music and videos from home via wifi
- look up a residency or business, provide me with driving directions, provide me a phone numbers to call, and find me when I'm lost
- listen to pretty much any radio station I want
- sell and buy on ebay
- track flights, check me in at the airport and tell me when my flight's been delayed

Its helped me out a lot in everyday task that the treo 650 couldn't do. It just seems to intergrates everything so well with so much updating and support for it. Now if ATT can get there freaking network going then we would have an all round grand experience

No, it hasn't changed my life a bit.

It's a phone, not a social movement you freak.

What if you were a dev, say you developed Tap Tap Revenge for iphone ipod and win a milllion dollars a month, wouldn't that be considered a change in your life?

Its has changed my life and if i ever lost it i would be scewed...:(

I Spend way more time in the washroom, and can access google during some of my test :p

changed my life? -I'd say no.

Improved? - Definitely

I'll be very unhappy if I cannot:

-Text with a qwerty keyboard
-Sync calender with computer
-YOUTUBE! mobile
-check the weather everymorning when I'm running downstairs
-Read Email as soon as I get it
-Take notes ASAP (Most Important)

I can live without an iPhone, but I just can't survive....

I wouldn’t say having my iPhone has changed my life… but it has changed the way i look at and use my mobile phone, and itd be a lot harder to get things done on the go if i didn’t have it.

For example now when looking at a new phone its got to have:

- qwerty keyboard (even though i find it harder to type on one with physical buttons now
-wifi
-email contact and calendar sync (MobileMe)

you get the idea anyway!

I don't spend more time in the, er, crapper simply because I'm afraid that I'll have some sort of episode and drop the phone in the sink or toilet or otherwise kill it, but apart from that it has definitely changed the way my choice of phone affects my life. I can do so much more with it than any other phone I've ever owned, which in turn improves my life because I can be more efficient and haul around fewer devices. Would I be devastated if someone snatched my iPhone away? Absolutely. Is that sad? Maybe a little, but I don't care. :)

I agree. I sit on the crapper a whole lot longer now that I have an iPhone.

I would suggest using disinfectant on a regular basis. I have heard that many people drop their phones in the toilet, so proper insurance may come in handy also.

My iphone hasn't changed my life but it does help me consolidate email, text, research and phone. It is much easier to do business while out of the studio.

I can't say it's life-altering, but it certainly has made some things easier and more convenient to do. Now I tend to:

- Check the weather more often
- Check email when I need to, not just when I get home from work
- Never come back late from lunch at work, thanks to the clock's countdown timer
- Have a calculator handy (useful at work sometimes)
- Check my bank balance whenever necessary, or even transfer funds on the go (this helped a LOT a few weeks ago.)
- Skype on the iPhone, 'nuff said
- Easy and quick access to Facebook or eBay
- Going out to eat? Urbanspoon has me covered

- Able to spend some idle time playing a game here and there (Doodle Jump, Skee-Ball, Voltron, and Assassin's Creed are my current faves.)

And the coolest feature that I don't use a lot, but boy has it saved me in a few cases...LogMeIn Ignition, so I can login to my Mac at home from wherever I am, and access necessary files. Sure it's a $30 app, but all you need to do is use it ONCE, and it pays for itself.

Yes, it's allowed me to get out of the office more.

As a creative director for a marketing and design firm I can manage and track my projects from just about anywhere and can also keep on top of client/account management more efficiently via several apps without hauling a laptop around.

Bottom line, I am not chained to my desk as much as I used to be.

Hate to play dictionary's advocate, but if your life was simplified, then it did change your life. OP never said he found iJesus, but I'm right there with him on a lot of stuff it makes easier or just possible.

"dictionary's advocate" lol

FYI-it's "devil's advocate"

It has changed my life, in a way of making life easier.

It's also made me smarter. Sometimes If me and my friends get in an argument, I can prove them, or sometimes even myself wrong.
