Has your MBP shipped yet?

WTF APPLE! Where is my machine? This is the last delivery day, and you haven't even shipped it yet!? This pisses me off so badly, that i'm soon concidering staying on my old windows machine instead of getting your s***! (just because i'm so disappointed right now) :mad:
 
My was also just scanned in Memphis. This flight went from China to Middle America non-stop.
 
I'm beginning to wonder whether my MacBook Pro (17" i7 with 7200 RPM 500 GB Drive and matte/"Anti-Glare" screen) will ever ship, and whether I'll be the very last person to get mine. I placed my order (through a retailer, not through the Apple Store) on the eve of the day it was announced. I was given an estimate of 1-2 weeks. When 2 weeks were up, I called again. I was told they were told by Apple that they'd receive it (last) Friday. I called today, asking about the status now that it is well past Friday, and was told that they've now been told it is backordered, and Apple has told them they will receive it this Friday. I asked whether there was anything I should know about the delays, and/or anything I could do to expedite this. I was told that they've told me everything Apple has told them; and there's nothing I can do to expedite it.

Ahhh ... some day it will arrive ....

Why did you order 3rd party?
 
My arrived to Memphis tn from china too!!

I ordered the 15 inch i7 128 solid state hard drive, high res !!! My should arrive by 12 noon on wednesday!! I was a pc person, but the iphone and ipad have converted me to apple fan boy.

That's right.

To be clear, I don't think my vendor is jerking me around. I think the vendor is being straight up with me. I bought my 2006 MPB from them, and they were prompt, with great customer service. This time, they also had great customer service. Further, they DID very promptly send me my Apple Care package. Also, when I called them about when my MBP would arrive, they automaticaly bumped the shipping from them-to-me from 3-5 day shipping to overnight shipping, since they had missed the estimate.

For whatever reason, Apple seems to be delaying sending my MBP to them. :confused:

Meanwhile – I guess I'm getting a great break from my business, and spending plenty of time playing with my closest friends and their kids.

Haha, mine has been shipped in the future (it's the 4th in China but still the 3rd here). Though I am disappointed that Apple uses UPS for Canada.

I ordered same config on 15th April. Was expected to deliver 11th may, changed to 10th may then 5th!!! Should get it tomorrow wahey!! Keep trying to chase it up with apple or cancel it and reorder with apple.
 
How is everyone's mbp expected delivery the 5th?! Mine's in transit from Memphis and expected delivery is the 6th.. i hate fedex

I am hoping it'll be here on the 5th though since I am only ~400 miles away from Memphis. Guess it depends on how long it takes to go through customs

Either way, I'll try not to get my hopes up about getting it before the 6th ;)
 
It looks like everything went to MEM. I live in Anc and mine went to Memphis. What the heck? So while you all are getting yours tomorrow I wait an extra day because ANC only delivers 3 day not 2-3 days. Why work something today that you can put off till tomorrow? That's ANC motto. Gotta love them!

My est. is the 5th. However I just noticed that it was Int'l shipment release.

Depending on how long it takes to sort, I would not be completely surprised if I got it tomorrow afternoon, although they haven't moved my shipping date up at all so this could be a pipe dream. I don't know if they fly direction to my home city or go to Sea Tac then drive it to me.

Anyone in Wa know how this works?
