I'm Happy for you mattrix, but I'm a bit pissed too (not at youhttp://images.macrumors.com/vb/images/icons/icon7.gif). I ordered mine 5 days prior to yours with the same exact specs and will be getting it the same day you are. I don't know FedEx doesn't give us more info as to what flight it is on so we can tell how far it is out from destination. Start talking to supervisors. They know it hasn't been on a plane for the last 36 hours so they need to look into it not just say, "oh well, that's all we see too".

Man I'm trying. Im trying not to get angry with them ya know. They say nothing to worry about bc delivery not expected until the 5th. I thought I should have been getting it today or tomorrow.

How long does it usually take for the "arrived in Anchorage" notification to appear after the second in Transit Shanghai. It has been in transit from Shanghai since like 8am this morning.
The plane is not here yet. Going on the first MBP I received on the 21st and returned for a glossy screen, it was scanned in China at 3:20am april 20 and landed in ANC 3:48am april 20. Those are "Local Scan Times" so from that I would suspect that it'll get scanned right before midnight tonight AST (Alaska Standard Time).
I have the same exact update on my tracking so I guess my MBP is on the same flight. I saw another post indicating direct flights to Memphis with a Flightaware link. Looking for an update sometime after Midnight. Not sure if everything stops in Ank but I think I'm looking good for expected arrival in FL on Wed the 5th 10:30am. Ordered 4/26 so that would be 9 days barring any setback.

I have a part-timer that works for FedEx and she says that only the 777 flies non-stop to MEM.
Ya, that's weird. It appears that it left MEM so where is the next city that it would fly into? I'd either call or go to that facility and ask them. You'll have to stand in line but you will get somewhere.
Do you know when flights leave Anchorage? Will it stay in Anchorage until tomorrow morning?
Everything will get held up in customs for a few hours. It might be a full day wait but once it leaves Alaska everything will pick up speed.
It most likely will sit here till morning, go thru customs then fly out in the afternoon (AST) then still get delivered b4 noon on Wednesday. If it makes u feel any better I won't get mine any sooner bcuz FedEx ANC won't work a tote or "bin" I think they call them, until the last day due.
FU**!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Seriously, my stupid computer probably flew right over my head. I'd have been happy if they dropped with with a parachute, a gps and handed me the receiver for it! Garrrrr. I doubt I will get it tomorrow since it is now half way across the country. Two words for you FedEx........F**k you. F**k you very much you lousy wrong headed jerkoffs.

Memphis touchdown here too. I guess there are Shanghai to Memphis direct flights. It was a 777.
