can anyone tell me when the fed ex planes take off from Shanghai? I thought i read someone say that only 1 leaves per day, what time usually?

my MBP just missed the saturday cut off, and has been stuck in china for the last 2 days...grumble.

Mine too. Just 2 more hours before it's been there a full 48hrs. Nice!

supposed to be here on Thursday... I have little faith in fed-ex
I ordered on Wednesday night.

This is ridiculous.
TNT sent my package to Hong Kong, let it sit around for 23 hours then sent it back to it's origin and now tells me it missed it's connection?

The destination is Australia, why the hell did they send it to Hong Kong?

Edit: I see I'm not the only one. Anyone got any idea when the next flight is?

This is so frustrating

I can't stand this; it's fraking killing me. I ordered my MBP 13.3/2.4/2X2GB/250/SD-USA on Apr 14, 2010 at 10:10 AM PDT at the Apple online store. Ok ok, it took me a few hours to decide if i really wanted it or to wait for the student combo with the ipod.

They built it within a day. Great! But it's been sitting in a warehouse for three days now. I still haven't gotten the second departure scan that all the other UPS shipments seem to have.

I think I am going to ring up USP and apple and see what is going on? If it will take some time, I am simply going to buy an 17" today. Ring some stores see who has what and just but a standard 17".

they will send it to hong kong because it flies shanghai > hong kong > sydney and then gets distributed from there...what city is yours ending up at and what date does it say it will be delivered??

im in perth and delivery is on the 22nd

also, just fyi, your MBP never actually made it to hong kong...the scans are there because it was supposed to go out to hong kong on that plane but the plane was overfull so it actually just sat around in shanghai for that 23 hours

also one guy in sydney had his tracker telling him it was in shanghai and then about an hour later it told him it was in sydney and he called tnt and its being delivered tomorrow

that, so far, is all i know about the shipping of our MacBook Pros

so to gather more info, what city are you in, when did you order, when is estimated delivery, and what configuration did you order??

The thing is that is has not yet even ben sent or anything, not even prepared for shipment! Its been a week soon and the money has been drawn from my account the same day i ordered it.

You guys know what this is about? It says that it should be shipped 22-23 april.

15" i7, 7200rpm HD, High-res glossy screen.
Delivering to Launceston, Tasmania.
Ordered on the Thursday morning after they went up on Wednesday night.
Estimated delivery is the 22nd.

Every other time I've ordered BTO things from Apple (Twice in the last six months) they've gone from Pudong straight to Sydney then to Launceston, 3 days total each time.


Also when I search my tracking number on TNT Australia, it says it was electronically lodged in Sydney last night, so it was probably meant to arrive then.

Apple take the money for your items when they ship. What they do... is they check you have funds to cover the sale. This marker tends to stay on your account so that you can not spend the amount for between 4-7 days. The money has not actually left you account. After this time the marker will drop off and the funds are either just left until they make a final charge or the will place a new marker.

Just got the shipment notice, target delivery date is now April 21. Nice job.

MacBook shipping status hasn't budged.

I'm kickin myself now. I drove past the mac store in seattle wa this weekend. If I had known it would be like this I never would have ordered online. And to think I could have been setting it up yesterday. SIGH...
if nothing changes Monday morning I'll cancel my order and take another road trip. I'm very grateful I'm not in eroupe right now. I think the situation with the ash is affecting all shipments somewhat. Could you imagine working for UPS or FedEx right now! Shew.
