Mines coming fedex ground and suppose to be here friday. Though sadly i have class for 3 hours friday, and am worried i may miss signing for it. Does anyone know if they would reattempt delivery saturday or would i have to wait till monday? Or could i call them and have them hold it at the fedex location friday so i could pick it up when i'm out of class?

So I called UPS and apparently my MBP is in Canada and the tracking has not been updated.They said its being delivered tomorrow at 12 pending customs which is interesting since ups tracking tells me its in China and my estimated delivery date is the 20th.
Well, mine has been on all of the same flights up until the last one (mine shows leaving Memphis at 3:23 and arriving back in Oakland at 7:07pm), so, sort of, yes...
If it gets here tomorrow or Tuesday, I'll be happy.Mine has a delivery date of the 22nd but it's gone from China to Anchorage, to Memphis, to Indianapolis within the last 2 days... I'm at Purdue University in West Lafayette, IN which is less than an hour and a half northwest of Indianapolis...
Has anyone experiences FedEx delivering much faster than their delivery estimate...? I can't imagine it would take them 2 days to get it from China to Indianapolis and now 3 more days to bring it an hour and a half drive north... I feel like the delivery trucks themselves probably drive that far.

Depending on where you actually live, you should be able to fill out the pre-signing sheet on Apple's website and direct the delivery guy to leave it under the care of someone else. I live in an apartment off campus and when I'm not home I leave the pre-signing slip on my door directing the guy to leave the package with my leasing office... if you're in a dorm then normally mail is signed and kept by the dorms anyways at most schools... and if you live in a house then you can have them leave it with a neighbor you're comfortable with.
Otherwise, skip class. It's worth it.

I'm wondering the same thing. As of tonight my MBP is in my city already, but wasn't scheduled to be delivered until Thursday 4/22. I'm really hoping they will either deliver early or let me pick it up from their facility and not just sit on it for 3 days. Going to call Fedex tomorrow to find out.

i called the shipping company (TNT Express Australia) and they said that the plane was overfull so it got left behind...they still think it will make the original estimated delivery date of the 22nd though

Just talked to Fedex. Apparently the package is at the regional sorting facility but not the local delivery facility. She said that it was very likely that it would be at the local delivery facility (it's about 20 min away from the sorting facility) by the end of tomorrow, or Tues at the latest, and that I should be able to pick it up at that facility either tomorrow night or Tuesday.
I didn't get a clear answer about whether it was likely to be delivered to my house earlier than expected (Thurs), but I think I will be picking it up anyway.
I'm in the same position as you. Considering it is mid-day in China on a Monday I hoped the status would have changed but not yet... Hoping it will leave soon.
im on the same boat as you guys..i think the next update would be when the package gets to anchorage.. its like a 12hour flight

literally was in bed listen to my touch trying to go to sleep when i got an email that it shipped! It Left FedEx origin facility @ 10:07 AM hopefully it left with others
