Snap! Mine has been updated to this today (love the way they inserted "flight departed" chronologically *before* "Flight Booked" :p.

My results (TNT and Apecode) are identical. See this afternoon's story (above) from Apple/TNT. Who knows when it will arrive at this point! :eek:

Yup, except the fact that the first two events are one day later overhere. I expect those machines to reach Arnhem tomorrow afternoon, and to be out for delivery the next day morning.
 
Looking For Advice!

My 17" HR matte screen, 7200rpm 160gb hard drive laptop STILL hasn't shipped! They charged my bank account sometime EARLY Friday morning (before 8am even). The charge is still "In Progress" according to the bank (even after the long weekend and all day today). So, should I call up Apple yet again and question them about this? I'm getting sick of this crap and want my computer NOW (or at least notification that it has been shipped)!

How is it that everyone is getting theirs today and having theirs shipped already? I ordered mine at about 2:30pm MDT on Tuesday, the day they were announced.

So, my question is, what should I do? Patiently wait it out? Call and demand they tell me why it hasn't shipped yet?

Actually you're right, my first two entries are a day later, but the final entry (10th June 18:12) is the same.

yep same here. '3 days shipping' when we ordered it on the 5th.
The wife could've got one from the Apple store on Regent Street as she works on Charlotte Street. Again I don't understand why they didn't have them already in the UK before they announced them. Someone at Apple needs a good slap imo.

I have merge in transit but apecode is still showing the 12th

Shipped the 9th by Apple, taking the flight on the 12th, damn.
ETA is switching between 15/16 june, 16th is saterday, so that would be monday :(.

Apple's delivery date is 20th June, so that's even worse.
 
I ordered a 7200 rpm hdd upgraded 15" MBP and delivery wont be before first of august. Did anyone who had this, have a positive shift in shipment so far? If not I think I will downgrade my order. This is insane! The people at apple phonecentrum said they had 3 days on their computer and didn't know how this could be, not even after several calls. Anyone who can cheer me up and tell me it will be here by the end of this week? :rolleyes:

Lol Wow Chris, we're on the EXACT same shipment. Mine has been in Mississauga since 6:37am on Friday and hasn't moved at all today... I'm surprised. Says it should be here tomorrow around 6pm. So here's hoping we both get ours :D Have fun with it man :p

Right down to the times... everyone is the same except for the very first one where it left China. Yours beat mine by 1 minute :p Kinda crazy lol Our computers are like brothers :p

This computer is definitely going to make me fail exams... lol And I have 2 major summative projects due this week and I haven't started. I'm asking for trouble

I suggest you wait it out. Mine had a shipping date of JULY 15th, (I ordered on June 5th).

Its ready for shipment, as of Monday morning PST. So I should get it by the end of this week.
 
Just received MBP

I'm sooo happy! I am posting this via my brand new SR MacBook Pro. Everything is great, and I'm transfering my music as we speak. But I did notice one thing about my MBP box. I have the 15" LED Backlight display. But the box says (on the top) "Backlight lamp contains mercury; dispose of according to local, state, and federal laws."

I'm guessing this is just an old box they are trying to get out of their storehouses, because the 15" doesn't contain mercury. Not a big deal, just noticed it :).

What time approximately did you order? Mine shows a shipping date of the 18th of July (I also ordered on the 5th). I'm getting anxious. I just want to see that lovely text on my phone "Apple:Apple Store Shipment Notification" letting me know I got an email. The suspense is killing me!

klymr, I ordered at exactly, June 5th 1:07 PM PDT.

I suppose I was behind all the people who ordered as soon as the Apple Store came back up the morning of the 5th.

I am have hit the refresh button for the FedEx Tracking site about a trillion times, waiting for updates. I guess most people on this site have done the same.

I hope you get yours soon, Im sure you will get the email soon.

I called Apple again, to no avail. She told me that one system shows shipping on the 14th of June, the other shows it'll ship by July 18th. She didn't sound like she knew what was going on. It seems like poor customer service if people are ordering today and showing that it will ship in 4 days when I ordered last Tuesday and I'm showing it will ship next month. This is insane. I'm tempted to just cancel my order, but I'm only hurting myself there. :(
 
My MBP has been stuck in Memphis (on its way to east coast of canada) for over 2 days now, without any updated info... =( I hope it's still on its way!

Yeah!!!!! Fedex delivered my new MBP 2.4 this morning, 2 days ahead of their est date. Got to love Fedex!

Of course the bad part was I was at work when my wife called and said guess what our new machine was delivered. Well needless to say how long the rest of the day felt to me since it was like 9:15am when she told me.

Anyhow I finally got home examined the exterior shipping box, which was a little weird because the return shipping address was listed as apple rma department or something like that. I hope that is normal and this did not come from their rma department. I then unpacked it. It was packed really well and I was actualy impressed with the box itself. Very nice. So I then gave the unit a quick visual inspection and it looked perfect. Next fired it up and went through some kind of welcome setup thing. It found my old netgear router just fine and I even got right on the internet too. I then examined the screen searching for any bad pixels, but my unit I am very happ to say is flawless. Now of course this is as far as I have gotten and I haven't tried out the optical drive or anything more than a dell usb mouse which works fine.

So I will most likely run my netgear router wireless with this until the weekend when I will setup the new airport router I bought yesterday.

Does anyone know what the extra power cord is thats included? I have one that has the converter with the magsafe on one end and a retractable two prong power on the conver itself. I also have this heavier 3 prong cable but I can't seem to figure out what the other end is supposed to plug into.

I am going to be exploring this beauty all night I am sure. Any tips are appreciated and I hope all those stillw aiting for theirs comes quick and flawless in quality!
