I just got an update at tnt too.

I think this relates to the 50 or so people that were stuck at Pudong. I would assume if mine arrived the rest did as well, and there's at least hope of getting it tomorrow.

Next week causes me a major inconvenience as I'm back in the office and won't be able to be home to receive it.

50? I guess more. If I 'play' with the reference number I see almost 20 packs from Shanghai going to Europe with all linehaul delays at Pudong. Only 1 of those 20 has yet been scanned in Arnhem.
 
Mine should be touching down in CA any minute. I guess based upon all the times we have brother (or sister) MacBook Pro's!

Mine is at my house now, i cant wait until lunch time so i can go see it.


To summarize:

2.4 17" Hi-Res 5200RPM 160GB - Normal Shipping - EDU Discount

Ordered Friday the 8th at about 4PM Eastern.

Ipod arrived Monday.

I checked Tuesday at midnight and the MBP didnt ship yet.

Checked Wednesday morning and it said it shipped from Shanghai, expected delivery was Friday.

Nothing updated before about 11PM last night.

I checked this morning to see that it already got to Romulus, Michigan (by way of Anchorage and Indy) and was out for delivery.

Arrived at about 9:45 AM
 
Strange -- my edu 15" 2.4 has now shipped. But it is Fedex Ground, and the first entry is Bloomington California. Do some of the orders get shipped to a distribution center first?
 
Surely the order references are assigned sequentially by Apple, so wouldn't be of much use. Wouldn't the consignment reference be of more use? Mine starts 269681XXX.
 
Heh, okay. Just saw quite a few around my number with the same information. Mine has just updated though!

Well I guess this is just mere guessing.

Hopefully there is a scanner working like a rock to get all our packages through and hopefully they didn't forget one of our packs still standing on the runway in Shanghai :p
