Has your SR MBP shipped yet?

Does anyone know just how much they charge for Rush shipping service and how long will it take ?
unfortunately the apple store near me is out of stock for MBP and I can't wait 2 weeks for the free shipping :mad:
 
i orderd mine 24/7 and i had it on 6/8 then i had to send it back after four hours of use because it died on me. Its most likley to be prepared for shippment in the next couple of days, because im getting ancious (is that the right spelling? sorry im from holland).it says it will be shipped somwhere between 20/8 and 23/8. Funny thing is... when i log in to look at my order the first screen says it has shipped on 6/8 but that was the one that died on me. When i look to the details it says "not shipped yet", expected shipping date 20/8 -23/8 and bla bla. I hope they didnt make a error or something because im waiting for this piece of allu for almost 6 wheeks. O yeah, im fedd up of calling to apple for it, so i think im just gonna wait this one out till after 23/8 before i call them.

I ordered mine through the ADC store and it looks like I've been on track with people who ordered through Education and the regular store.

I think they prepare shipments on weekends, from what i have noticed yesterday and today, the people that had their shipments prepared have been from order dates 8/4 - 8/6, when did ur order urs?

i ordered it on 8/8, and i even got suckered into buying the 2-day shipping, hopefully you're right and that maybe it will be Prepared for Shipping soon
 
I ordered on 8/8, and the status just changed to prepared for shipment. Woot!

Yeah I ordered them for an "education institution." I work for a K-12 district. These computers have been so delayed that two of the three people have since opted for a desktop over the notebook because they were sick of waiting! Generally, when I order Apple stuff, it's about a week from when I fax the P.O. to Apple to when I receive the stuff. Sometimes it can be a little longer. I ordered 48 of the low-end 17" iMacs on July 5th and received them on July 16th. That's pretty quick! The only times that I have experienced long delays like this was when Apple was preparing to discontinue a product a release a new product. I can't tell if that's the case here. It seems that there is a problem getting notebook components to the assembly line. Although when I read about other regular folks ordering theirs in early August and getting them when I ordered in early July and am still waiting, it makes me wonder what really is happening behind the scenes...
 
Prepared for Shipment!!! :eek: After checking like every 30 minutes for the past week or so, just now I checked and did a double-take as my socks blew off :D Now lets hope for one of the LG displays.

Yup, I ordered August 7 and noticed the status has changed to Prepared for Shipment today. I tell myself that good things are worth waiting for, don't let me down MBP!!
 
So I guess they don't ship computers over the weekend... I've been prepared for shipment almost two days and nothing has happened. If they wait until monday to send it I will be cutting it really close because I'm leaving for school of wednesday. great...

it'll probably ship sometime tomorrow since china is 13 hours ahead (central time)...but, wednesday would be a good guess as to when you'll have it...possibly tuesday depending upon type of shipping you chose

Could be. I ordered ofr higer education on 8/7 and it is 'prepatred for shipment' today

yay!! mine is prepared for shipping as well, i just got home from work and looked, i have the same date ranges as you except i have until the 27th as the latest, if everything goes good, they will ship mine tomorrow and i will get it tuesday!!

If you get your computer in one day then it is hauling it. Mine shipped on a Monday and made it to me in Tennessee on Thursday.
