Has your SR MBP shipped yet?

Just got the same thing from FedEx:

Estimated delivery Aug 23, 2007 by 10:30 AM

I could have sworn I was upgraded to overnight...oh well only a few more days

Same here You know, it is probably a bit difficult to ship overnight from China, even by airplane. Though I think the 12-hour time difference is working for you, since overnight in the U.S. is daytime for the package until it arrives.

I ordered 8/9 and still not even prepared for shipment. For the first time in this whole process, I think I am starting to get a little impatient. Just a little.

Did Apple give you an initial date range for expected shipping?

They seem to be shipping towards the end of their date ranges. If that range has passed, I'd consider giving them a call to see what's up. Otherwise, just wait, it'll ship.

This waiting is killing me. Mine is also still in transit from Shanghai. I just wish I knew when it would really get here, because I have to take off work to sign for it. My fedex guy likes to leave things under my doormat.

don't we all haha mine is still in transit also from shanghai, its been in transit for a while now actually since yesterday afternoon so i wonder what the hold up is, maybe it's just only an hour from where i live and they want to surprise me

Dont depend on the tracking info tho, mine came 2 days early. Nice suprice till it died on me. Oh well. My new MBP is ready for shippment today. So it will be here in about 2 or 3 days im guessing. Im trying not to get excited before i get disapointed again, but sometimes i cant help myself.

Same here. It feels like FOREVER since I ordered it. I can't imagine waiting 3-5 weeks like some people I know for their iMacs...

I have a good feeling my MBP will be in town Friday or so but not out for delivery until Monday. Does anyone know if Fedex will allow you to go by and pick it up? I remember a thread about this a short time ago, but I can't find it.

Never mind- I found it. Doesn't look like that would work.

It depends on the FedEx distribution site that it goes through. Some have a place to pick up items and some don't.

I placed a single order for four items from Apple. Of the three that have arrived, I was able to pick two of them up at the distribution facility.

I will also be picking up my MBP there as I'm not about to presign and let FedEx leave it on my front porch and I'm not generally at home when they deliver because... well... I have a job.

Thanks for the information. I will definitely make an attempt to pick it up if it looks like it will be sitting in town over the weekend.

If you're ordering from Apple, they provide a way to pre-sign for your shipment. Check your order status page

Yes. Unless there is a customs issue, you should get your MBP tomorrow morning.

Yes they are...I'm beyond excited...I want to go to bed now and just wake up when it comes tomorrow (assuming it comes tomorrow)...
